Vim & Vigor

Vim & Vigor is an ensemble indie pop band from Washington, DC. With influences ranging from Amy Winehouse to Jamie Cullum to The Head and The Heart, Vim & Vigor produces a sound that is unique and earnest with rich harmonies and layers of instrumentation. Vim & Vigor is a band full of team players, often switching leads on vocals and instruments. It's member include: Gabi Schulte on vocals and guitar; PJ Tabit on vocals and keyboards; Tiffany Shanta on violin and back-up vocals; Alex Porteous on bass and Adam Schilpp on drums.

Quickly gaining traction in the DC music scene, Vim & Vigor has performed shows at popular venues such as Jammin Java, the Black Cat, IOTA Club & Cafe, and DC9. They have also played at Rockwood Music Hall and Pianos in New York City and The Grape Room in Philadelphia. Vim & Vigor released its debut self-titled EP in 2016.

Justin Trawick and The Common Good

Described as sounding like Bob Schneider, Greensky Bluegrass, The Tallest Man on Earth, G. Love, Old Crow Medicine Show, and David Gray, Justin Trawick and the Common Good is a high energy Americana band packed full of emotional raw musicianship, heartfelt lyrics, and powerful harmonies. With music ranging from bluegrass to hip hop the band has managed to create a sound that is completely unique, captivating crowds all over the East Coast. Based in Washington DC, the band has performed TedxEast in NYC at The City Winery, TedxPennsylvaniaAvenue in DC at the Newseum, and has opened for over 30 national acts including Suzanne Vega, Brett Dennen, Blues Traveler, Enter The Haggis, Bob Schneider, and Edwin McCain, and shared bills with Dr. Dogg and The Avett Brothers. In June of 2015, Trawick released his first single “Goodbye" with his band “Justin Trawick and the Common Good.” Written about the search for direction and belonging in a world that constantly feels one step ahead of you, “Goodbye” is available for download on iTunes along with a music video documenting the recording session available on YouTube. Founder of the nationally touring show “The 9 Songwriter Series” and co-founder of “The Circus Life Podcast" with guests such as Kevin Eubanks, Chris Thomas King, Ernie Halter, Yarn, and Snuffy Walden, Trawick has built a brand that extends beyond just being a musician local to DC. In February of 2014, Trawick won “Song of the Year” at the Washington Area Music Awards for his song “All the Places That I’ve Been," which can be downloaded on iTunes as a single along with his five other solo records and EPs.
