Michelle Renee, J. Shepherd (Sore Thumb), and Cincinnatus - Private Parlor Show (($10 before/$15 day of show))

Michelle Renee

Michelle Renee teases elements of folk, indie-rock and soul to say hello to circumstance. A Jewel-Florence Welch mashup, Michelle’s expressive lyrics are intensified by her distinct vibrato, colored by a low, rich timbre and transcendent soprano overtones. Born a scientist, Michelle’s spirit for experimentation brought her across the country to her new home in the Bay. Her first album, Reflections, was released in Dec. 2014.

J. Shepherd

J. Shepherd’s clever guitar riffs and hypnotic vocals are two of many reasons his band, Sore Thumb, was voted The Deli Magazine SF’s featured artist of September. His humming folk songs finger pick through existential crisis and the impending apocalypse.

Cinncinatus

Cincinnatus is an author and artist who dances philosophic essays on happiness with gusto. His performance is a clever blend of theater, movement, and sparse electronic music, creating a stage wherever he goes.
