Operation Smile is an international medical charity that has provided hundreds of thousands of free surgeries for children and young adults in developing countries who are born with cleft lip, cleft palate or other facial deformities. It is one of the oldest and largest volunteer-based organizations dedicated to improving the health and lives of children worldwide through access to surgical care. Since 1982, Operation Smile has developed expertise in mobilizing volunteer medical teams to conduct surgical missions in resource-poor environments while adhering to the highest standards of care and safety. Operation Smile helps to fill the gap in providing access to safe, well-timed surgeries by partnering with hospitals, governments and ministries of health, training local medical personnel, and donating much-needed supplies and equipment to surgical sites around the world. Founded and based in Virginia, U.S., Operation Smile has extended its global reach to more than 60 countries through its network of credentialed surgeons, pediatricians, doctors, nurses, and student volunteers.
Mission statement: Hope for Henry is reinventing how hospitals care for seriously ill children and their families through innovative programs that entertain, reduce stress and empower children to be active participants in their own care.

Mama's Black Sheep
Mama’s Black Sheep is the soulful collaboration of singer-songwriters Ashland Miller (guitar/vocals) and Laura Cerulli (drums/vocals). Together, this duo creates a blend of hit worthy originals and covers with a unique spin. Each song allows you to travel with time, whether you’re swinging to Country, Rocking to Pop, Grooving to Soul, or swaying to the Blues; there’s always something to move your body and stir your soul!
Touring together since 2008, Miller & Cerulli (veterans of the singer-songwriter circuit), will make you feel like every aspect of their journey is in Real-Time. Creating a sound all of their own, Mama’s Black Sheep is driven by Miller’s versatile guitar grooves, Cerulli’s innovative percussion, and two voices that blend like honey & whiskey in perfect harmonious balance. These ladies rock to their own beat, sharing songs of life and love, and empowering the listener to live boldly beyond the barriers.
With two well received CD’s to their credit (Unmarked Highway, 2010; Drivin’ On, 2011) the duos newest recording,“Live @ The Bevy” was released in 2016. “Live @ The Bevy” is a full length concert DVD/CD set recorded at the Bevy In Birdtown in the Cleveland, OH area. The new recording features eight original songs along with some of their most requested covers. Mama’s Black Sheep is on the road nearly 200 days per year touring extensively throughout the continental U.S. and the Caribbean.
Christine Havrilla & Gypsy Fuzz
Award-winning Philadelphia native Christine Havrilla brings her “well-built, catchy, smart tunes” (Upstage Magazine) to audiences everywhere, touring nationally solo and also with the support of her band, Gypsy Fuzz. Christine utilizes the soft gritty texture of her vocals to express warmth and honesty listeners quickly embrace as well as her aggressive, raw, trash-style guitar playing and looping. Main Line Today Magazine lists Christine as one the 25 “Power Women” ready to lead (October 2015). “Christine Havrilla is a creative, talented powerhouse wrapped up in one complete package!” exclaims Nor’easter Magazine (Aug 2015). Mike “Jacobs” McKenna of Steel Notes Magazine reviews & says “This CD (Vol. 2- The Sunset Sessions) just defies description. It is hot, tight, precise and just plain kicks ass. This ambitious Philly native manifests her talent in certain ways that allows her to create eclectic music which will grab your heart and leave a lasting memory. Her Roots/Folk/Americana background coupled with that unique individuality that she possesses allows her to be a presence that steps into many genres and gives her the tools to crossover to different music formats. My recommendation is go hear the band live, buy the CD and experience what I have just heard. I give this 2 THUMBS UP!” Mark Rogers from 93.7 WSTW raves, “…with Gypsy Fuzz (the album and the band), Christine takes especially that rock element and turns it to 11. Gypsy Fuzz fuses fantastic guitar work with Christine’s vocals, which can reach down inside and grab your heart. A very diverse album, showing elements of rock, blues and even country, among others, Gypsy Fuzz continues Christine’s string of fantastic albums. Buy it.” Named "One of the Top Ten Indie Artists" by The Advocate Magazine, The Washington Post writes, “(Havrilla’s) songs are intelligent and moving, the arrangements are incisive and colorful, and, best of all, Havrilla consistently comes across as a confident and seasoned performer.” Gypsy Fuzz’s premier album titled “Searching. Finding. Living.”, co-produced by Larry Crane (Elliott Smith, Sleater-Kinney, Cat Power), was listed on Advocate Magazine’s not to be missed “Best Overlooked Albums of 2011!” (Advocate -November 2011) Christine is listed with Takamine Guitar’s Worldwide Artists, was a featured Artist for American Musical Supply’s Singer/Songwriter Month (Feb 2015), nominated for About.com's 2013 Reader's Choice Awards, awarded the 2010 Garden State Film Festival’s “Best Contemporary Country Song” for “Blinders”, nominated for 3 “Homey Awards” (2015) for 93.7 WSTW, and is called "...raw, simple, wonderful!" by Curve Magazine. Inessa at 101.9 KINK.FM calls Gypsy Fuzz "Yet another fun late-year discovery!" Michaela Majoun, former DJ from 88.5 WXPN, applauds her "terrific, big sound”, while Philadelphia Magazine states, “She rocks!” Larry Goldfarb of the famous Tin Angel venue shares, “Christine is such a kind person and a great talent!” Christine’s current project is a series of “Live Session” volumes, with “Vol. 1- The Creamery Sessions”, “Vol. 2- The Sunset Sessions”, and “Vol. 3- The Old Church Sessions” now available.
With a warm, soulful voice and easygoing stage presence, Meredith Rounsley has been captivating audiences near and far for years. The strength of her latest release, Weapon, led to a "New and Notable" feature on Noisetrade and prompted a tour schedule that has taken her up and down the east coast.
Weapon came together across two continents as Meredith travelled between the USA and Australia for University. During that time, she honed her voice as a storyteller. She crafts songs that explore love, heartbreak, and distance with an unflinching honesty; from the rhythmic pop/soul of Weapon to sweeter ballads Falling Easy and Trying, the songs on this project resonate with sincerity.
Meredith’s original music has been recently featured on The Freeman Stage (host to national touring acts like Gary Clark Jr., Chicago, and Grace Potter), Delmarva Life, WBOC radio, and she has opened for regional bands at Headquarters Live.
Whether performing solo with her acoustic guitar or with a full band, Meredith’s original music and inventive covers resonate with audiences. “I believe that music should connect people, “ she says, “whether that’s over a story, a song, or glass of wine. I want people come away from a show feeling like they have been a part of a community experience.”
Meredith has focused on creating that experience by hosting unique, intimate events for listeners no matter the venue. She has played concerts in living rooms from Toronto, Canada to Georgia and curated a songwriter’s showcase in her hometown of Salisbury, Maryland. Her music has been featured on main stages and in packed cafes. Each time, she brings the stories, honesty, and connection that Weapon showcases effortlessly.
