Emily Cavanagh is a Singer/Songwriter in New York City, originally from Chicago. Fresh off her latest two releases, “Paper Moon," & "Bootlegs from the Continental," she will be back at Rockwood Stage 3 this April for an acoustic performance. In December, Emily kicked off her tour for these EPs in a sold out show at Rwd, and has since been on the road with dates in Memphis, Nashville, Boston, South Carolina, St. Louis, and gearing up for Dublin & London late this spring. "Paper Moon," produced by Leo Sidran, and written entirely in Ireland, has garnered her radio play in Dublin, features in AXS and Medium, play on all major music platforms-Spotify, Pandora, Tidal, and interviews on online television shows "Little Things" and Ditty TV. Cavanagh is a regular performer in NYC, and a published songwriter---songs like the instrumental of her song "Treehouse" have been featured in commercial and trailer work, last year namely, the trailer for Woody Harrelson's film, “Wilson."
In addition to music, Emily has developed creative arts programs in shelters for homeless young adults & works as both a musician and a contractor for arts-non-profits like “Artists Striving to End Poverty." This year, she launched a concert series for new moms called "Baby Mommas," a collaboration with her longtime friend & guitarist, Andrew Miramonti.
Catch her April 6th before she heads back out on the road & 'cross the pond.
