Pop Punk band from Tulsa, OK

Keeping Secrets is an American rock band formed in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 2017. The band consists of lead vocalist Jack Martinez, lead guitarist Tyler Captain, bassist and backing vocalist Alex Ford, and drummer Christopher Almendarez. Tyler and Chris are the band's songwriters; Martinez is the main lyricist.

Started in November of 2014 in a storage unit in Tulsa Oklahoma, Joshua Meador (guitar/vocals), Justin Hoffman, and Vince Baker (drums) came together to write music. After writing quite a few songs in just a few weeks, they brought in Darrell Dotson (guitar/vocals) to help fill out the sound. The magic made between these four fine young gentlemen would surprise even them with how quickly it came to be. After landing their first show in February, through sheer word of mouth they began cultivating fans and captivating audiences with their high energy shows that focused on everyone having the best time possible as fast as possible. Their mix of punk musical elements with heartfelt lyrics would drive them to become one of the Top Five Punk Bands in Tulsa. They have played with the likes of local legends Society Society, Merlin Mason, SkyTown, and national artists like Mike Dillon. Since placing in the Top Four out of around thirty bands in the East Meets West Battle of the Bands in Depew, OK, Class Zero has had the privilege of playing shows almost every other weekend all around Tulsa and as far away as Ft. Worth, TX, Since then have departed from original bassist and added newcomer Tyler Burke of Roots Of Thought, who is now a permanent member. They released their second EP titled High Energy Love Stories Pt. ll on Valentines Day 2016 and are now writing their first full length album.

Burning Icarus, an original Hard Rock band hailing from Oklahoma City, was conceived in May 2013 by founding member JC (Backing Vox/Former Lead Vox & Guitar). Drawing on influences ranging from classical symphonic music to modern metal, JC began to craft a heavy, melodic sound rooted in the rhythmic richness of metal, the melodic melodrama of pop/rock, and puissance of pop/punk. After months of writing JC launched an extensive search to complete the band's lineup and catalog. Upon welcoming Bucky Blades (Bass & Backing Vox) and Jake Green (Drums) in mid 2014 - who injected their own style and influence into the BI style - the band set its sights on preparations to record their debut album, which was released world-wide on March 7th, 2015. Rise, which was engineered by Kendall Stephens of Red Audio Werks and Alan Douches of West Westside Music, gained immediate airplay on the KATT, Metal Moose Radio, Ink'd Metal Radio, Crush 405 Radio, and acclaim from listeners. Following their performance to a capacity crowd in support of the release of Rise, the foursome of Burning Icarus is now brining its high-energy musical and performance style to venues throughout the country. The band welcomed BJ Collins, the new backbone for the next stage of the band as well as Tyler Collins on guitar in early 2017; Winston Flick - bass guitar - joined the band in mid 2017.

Current highlights include an interview on the KATT's Local Talent Show, regional nomination by the North American Independent Rock Music Awards for their song "Rise", opening for national acts Gemini Syndrome, OTEP, 9 Electric, Dog Fashion Disco, Psychostick, Rivers of Nihil, and Hemlock, headlining performance at Pittsburg State University, co-headlining the Make-A-Wish Foundation's Rock for Wishes Festival, performing on the Local Showcase The St. Valentine's Day Massacre, the KATT's Local Talent Show Festival, as well as the Norman Music Festival.
