The San Francisco Bluegrass and Old Time Music Festival - Night 2 Bluegrass Spot Light with Evie Ladin & Evil Diane and The California Tallboys - Private Parlor Show (($15 adv/$15 day of show))

Evie Ladin and Evil Diane

Tenacious, innovative string musicians/dancers with a pulsing neo-trad heart, the Evie Ladin Band – Evie Ladin, Keith Terry and Erik Pearson – throws down soulful folk songs with a four-dimensional live show.

Grounded in Appalachian old-time repertoire, seasoned in African-diaspora roots, writing from life in modern cities, blurring the lines between music and dance, “I had no idea!” is how audiences describe the ELB’s captivating concerts.

The California Tallboys

The California Tallboys bring their own unique twist to traditional and modern bluegrass and acoustic music.

The San Francisco Bluegrass and Old Time Music Festival

The San Francisco Bluegrass & Old-Time Festival is a grass-roots, nonprofit, volunteer-run festival dedicated to keeping the tradition of bluegrass and old-time music alive.

The original festival (held 2000-2013) was organized by a quasi-independent committee of the Northern California Bluegrass Society. The revival is a project of several area bluegrass organizations, including the NCBS.
