Celia Woodsmith is a GRAMMY Nominated performer and songwriter. Hailed by the Bluegrass Situation as having a "one of a kind voice: gritty, muscular, folksy and intimate sometimes all at once" she is influenced by artists like John Prine, Bonnie Raitt, Patsy Cline and Mahalia Jackson. Over ten years of touring Celia has shared stages with the likes of Taj Mahal, Leon Russell, Janis Joplin's Big Brother and the Holding Company and Amy Ray of the Indigo Girls.
Since 2011 Celia has been writing and performing with Nashville based bluegrass band Della Mae. In 2013 they won IBMA's Emerging Artist of the Year and in 2014 were nominated for a Best Bluegrass Album GRAMMY for their album "This World Oft Can Be".
For this show Celia will be joined by singer/songwriter Clinton Curtis and members of his band Gray Reinhard, Justin Goldner and Jordan Perlson for electric versions of new original material and Della Mae favorites.
