Giving Thanks: A DubConscious Family Gathering! Join us for an unbelievable night of music featuring a full set by Cadillac Jones followed by a DubConscious=centric orchestra featuring the majority of members of DubConscious along with an all-star cast of some of Georgia's best! Guests include members of Entropy, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Eastern Standard, and Squat Et JGBCB.
Since DubConscious’ inception in 2002, this dub reggae collective out of Athens, GA has created and maintained their place on the cusp of solution-based philosophy, social and environmental awareness, and intellectual evolution of music. They are dedicated to spreading the word on sustainability, positivity, and social and environmental awareness through their music and lyrics. Their unique blend of dub, reggae, and afrobeat pays homage to such greats and musical pioneers as Burning Spear, Lee “Scratch” Perry, Fela Kuti, and King Tubby. DubConscious also successfully transcend their respective genres, as they often incorporate elements of r&b, hip hop, electronica, and jazz, making them a favorite amongst a diverse and dedicated fan base. They have performed at such esteemed venues and festivals as Bonnaroo, Reggae On the Rocks, 10,000 Lakes Festival, Langerado and more.

Cadillac Jones is 6 piece funk jazz ensemble that combines influences from 60s soul, 70s funk, and rock to form a style of music that is completely their own. They started here in Atlanta in 2001, and are now touring behind their fifth studio album - Cabin Fever. The band still proudly wears its influences of Herbie, James, and Quincy. But with the comfort of over a decade of history under their belts, Cadillac Jones uses horns, guitars, keys, and, synths to confidently blend in touches of psychedelia and even afrobeat that keep the surprises coming for audiences deep into the night.
