King Louie

King Louie has cemented his place as a legendary figure in Chicago Hip-Hop and has never stopped giving his fans new content or touching down on the road. King Louie is best known as one of the pioneers of the Drill Hip-Hop movement in Chicago that put on display an honest portrait of the conditions in underserved Chicago neighborhoods, woke the city up, and provided a blueprint of success for ambitious, talented youth in Chicago. King Louie’s talent and work ethic continued to take him to new heights and led to him receiving nods and collaborations with some of Chicago’s most prominent entertainers such as his work with DJ Victorious & Twista on “Koolin”, “ Familiar” from Nico Segal, Chance The Rapper & The Social Experiment’s Surf project, and teaming up with fellow drill pioneer Chief keef for Send It Up, an important moment for Chicago on Kanye West’s Yeezus album. King Louie has recently been featured on networks such as CNN to speak out against gun violence in Chicago.
Fresh off performing in venues and arenas nationwide on Chance The Rapper’s Be Encouraged Tour, King Louie will take the stage in Milwaukee to help celebrate the kick off of IVE’s f Irst & foreVEr Tour.
King Louie recently dropped a video for his new Mulatto Beats produced track “Long Live The Kings” ahead of King L’s highly anticipated, up and coming Jeep Music 2 project:
“ The early standout for me was this King Louie-assisted “Long Live The Kings,” which in my opinion brought Louie back to the zone I like him in. The backdrop was perfect, and Louie attacked the track effortlessly. The good news is now there’s a video to accompany it. This is a song everyone needs to hear, so let’s hope the video further pushes it.”

Wave Chapelle

Milwaukee native Wave Chapelle is one of the most talented and successful artists to emerge from the often under-recognized, vibrant Milwaukee Hip-Hop scene. Being the son of a legendary Milwaukee rapper, Wave received valuable lessons about the game while growing up but knew instinctively he also needed to carve his own path. Wave headed down to Memphis where he continued to grow his organic fan base while inking a deal with Yo Gotti’s CMG Music & Epic Records in 2014. Since then the “ Authentic” rapper has continued his strides touring with national acts such as Curren$y, building his own brand, and feeding MKE wavey new content.
Wave takes a break from recording and performing on the west coast to join IVE for the premier date on the fIrst & foreVEr Tour in his hometown .
Get familiar with “It’ll All Make Sense 2,” the latest mixtape release from the Milwaukee emcee:
“ Throughout his work, he teeters between neo-soul production, trap-like beats, and boom bap, using the platform to spit bars on his personal narrative, his city, and his success.”
