Bound by Substance

Rock with a splash of whiskey. That's the best way to describe the sound of Bound By Substance. Drawing from the blues influences of early 70's rock bands and blending it with the melodic sounds of early 90's rock, BBS has forged a unique, refreshing sound. Couple that with the NYC elements of grit and urgency and what you are left with is a rock sound that has a perfect balance of darkness, beauty, sadness and joy.

BBS is no stranger to the New York City music scene. Over the years BBS has actively played the NYC club scene. Currently, they have a residency at The Bitter End in Manhattan. They have also played clubs such as Webster Hall, Irving Plaza, Gramercy Theater, Bowery Ballroom, and Mercury Lounge

BBS has 3 E.P.s: Rusted Time, Dead Wrong, and IV. All are available on Itunes, Spotify, and numerous other music services.

Signals of Bedlam

After 4 years of gigging around NYC and the northeast and 3 years after releasing their debut album “No Gods, No Monsters”, Signals of Bedlam have released their second album Escaping Velocity via Bandcamp, Spotify, Itunes, and GooglePlay Music. Escaping Velocity is a work that is much more polished, ambitious, and definitive of the band beyond anything else they have ever produced. Every member of Signals of Bedlam has dedicated themselves to both the discovery of an individual voice on their instrument and to the difficult, yet deeply satisfying work of creative collaboration.

Escaping Velocity is progressive rock. Signals of Bedlam have many influences, but the bands that draw them together are Karnivool, The Mars Volta, The Dillinger Escape Plan, and The Dear Hunter.

Escaping Velocity was produced, recorded, and mixed by Frank Mitaritonna at Vudu Studios who has worked with The Dillinger Escape Plan, The Dear Hunter, Glassjaw, and O’Brother, mastered with Paul Gold at Salt Mastering who has polished up albums for LCD Soundsystem and Animal Collective, and has cover art created by K3N ( who has done the majority of the artwork for metal pioneers Lamb of God.

Purple Pam & The Flesh Eaters

The Rock n' Roll of urban frustration, Purple Pam and the Flesh Eaters is a four piece from New York City, NY. We have been together for four years. The band together as a temporary situation to perform songs on occasion from Purple Pam's solo catalog. We found the chemistry to be so natural that we opted to write songs together.
The diverse influences throughout the band allow us to make music that tells a story using textures from blues, hard rock, punk, and anything else we can dig up from our musical inspirations. The songs on Victory On Your Deathbed speak to the day to day frustrations of urban living. Personal betrayals, feelings of being singled out, and times of overcoming tragedy are some of the song themes. As we grow and move on we want our music to do the same.
The band is Purple Pam on vocals, Jeanne Carno-Rosenberg on drums, Merx on guitars, and Daniel Martinez on bass.
