It's a Guy Thing

Mitra Jouhari, Catherine Cohen, and Patti Harrison are three gals who just don't get "guy stuff." They've invited some of the best comedians around town to give them lectures on guy stuff so that they can finally fit in.

Sudi Green

Sudi Green is a comedian, actress, and Emmy-nominated writer for Saturday Night Live. She has also written for the show Maya and Marty, MTV, and Refinery 29. She is a performer at the Upright Citizens Brigade theatre in New York where she co-hosts her monthly character variety show, Theme Party. Sudi performed in the Just for Laughs comedy festival in Montreal as part of their new faces, characters. Her work has been featured in Salon, New York Magazine, Nylon, The Advocate, Slate, and Jezebel. You can see her performing comedy throughout New York City.

Sydnee Washington

Originally from New York City but raised in Oakland, California. Growing up with a backyard & a big wheel really has made her more approachable than most New Yorkers. Currently a cast member on MTV's international show "Vidiots". Recently performed her sold out solo show "Death of a Bottle Girl" at The Duplex Cabaret Theatre. Residency at "The PIT Presents" for 2016. Eugene Mirman Comedy Festival 2016. Hosts “The UnOfficial Expert” Podcast with Marie Faustin available on iTunes & ComedyHype. Has appeared in AustinMartinez Music Videos on TruTv "Late Night Snack". and various YouTube videos for VH1, GQ and Elite Daily.

Steven Phillips-Horst

Steven Phillips-Horst is an artist and brand strategist. He hosts a raucous monthly comedy show, TALK HOLE, called "one of the only comedy shows in New York worth seeing," by the FADER. His web series, TRAILING, was inspired by his time as a former speechwriter for New York Mayor Bill de Blasio. He is a political contributor to DIS Magazine. His work has been featured in GQ, the FADER, Pitchfork, Vogue and elsewhere. He can recently be seen in Comedy Central's BROAD CITY.

Ruby McCollister

Katie Hartman

Katie Hartman writes and performs as one half of the acclaimed NYC sketch comedy duo Skinny Bitch Jesus Meeting (Edinburgh Fringe, NYC Fringe, Austin Sketchfest, Women in Comedy Festival, Charleston Comedy Festival, etc.). SBJM was recently named “one of the twenty-five funny people that should have their own TV show” by Complex Magazine. She is co-creator/co-star of the web series "Made To Order" ( which was recently was listed as one of "6 Brilliant Web Series" by Marie Claire. Katie can be seen on the popular series "High Maintenance" and with regularity on the Webby-winning YouTube channel "Barely Political." Katie improvises on Saturdays at 8pm with PIT house team Gypsy Danger.

Catherine Cohen

Catherine Cohen is a comedian, actor, voiceover artist, and poet living in Brooklyn. She performs on a house team at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater and hosts the monthly variety show It's A Guy Thing at Union Hall, which was listed as one of Paste Magazine’s “10 Best Alt Comedy Shows in New York City." Her work has been featured on Splitsider, The New Yorker, The Huffington Post, New York Mag's The Cut, The Brooklyn Comedy Festival, and The New York Comedy Festival. Patti Harrison

Patti Harrison is a comedian, actor, and writer living in Brooklyn, NY. Her television credits include appearances on "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon", "Broad City", and TBS's "Search Party". She is also featured in Paul Feig's upcoming film "A Simple Favor". Her work can also be seen on MTV, Comedy Central,, VICELAND, Conde Nast's "The Scene", and Seriously.TV. She's been called "Upsettingly funny" by Time Out New York, and featured in write-ups in The New York Times, Vulture, Splitsider, A.V Club, Paste Magazine, and more. She cohosts the monthly live comedy show "It's a Guy Thing" at Union Hall. She is tarnsgarnder!!!!!
