Hattie Hughs is a 14 year old from Yukon, Oklahoma, and the recent grand prize winner of “Western Oklahoma’s Got Talent” competition. She began singing in church at the age of seven and enjoys any opportunity she has to perform. In addition to participating in the Rising Star program at the Rodeo Opry, Hattie sings at the Clinton Jamboree, talent shows, county fairs, fundraisers, banquets, and sporting events.
She is not only a talented singer but also a student-athlete. Hattie is a member of the Oklahoma Honor Society and plays on Yukon’s volleyball team. In her free time she likes to deer hunt, shop, and watch HGTV.
Marty Summers grew up in Cheyenne, a small town in western Oklahoma. As a young boy, he sang at church, school, and family events, but didn't "officially" take the stage until he joined the Rodeo Opry family in 2009. Marty purchased his first acoustic guitar in 2008. Often accompanied by his musical neighbor, Glenn, he began learning songs on his guitar and singing in living room jam sessions.
Marty and his wife, Stephanie, discovered the Rodeo Opry one weekend when looking for a live music show to attend - and they have been fans ever since. About a year after attending their first show, Marty auditioned and has since become a repeat performer.
Marty graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1994 and is currently employed by Devon Energy. He and Stephanie live in SW OKC.
