Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds"

Alfred Hitchcock

Celebrate Friday the 13th with seasonal brews and the chilling Hitchcock classic, “The Birds.” Wear a costume and enter to win tickets to the next Scary Film. Photo I.D. required to purchase alcohol. Film starts at 7:30, pub opens at 6:30. Cash bar. Film length: 2 hrs.

Did you know that Hitchcock was a dog-lover? Two of his four Sealyham Terriers, Stanley and Geoffrey, make an early cameo with Hitchcock himself in “The Birds.” Join us before the film for a “Meet-the-Breed” event with Archie, a Sealyham from the metro Washington, D.C. area. This rare breed of dog was at one time a favorite among many celebrities, with a current estimated population of less than 500 worldwide, fewer than pandas or tigers. They are now gaining back in popularity, as more people realize what a beautiful, playful, intelligent breed they are.
