Crescent Moon, Naughty Clouds, Mr Payday, Elk City

Crescent Moon is a rock band fronted by Ween bassist Dave Dreiwitz. At this special performance Crescent Moon will perform the music of Instant Death and will feature drummer Chris 'Tomato' Harfenist (Sound of Urchin, Moistboyz). Instant Death was Dreiwitz's duo with drummer/songwriter Scott Byrne. They released one album, 2002's New Evil Vibe produced by Andrew Weiss (Rollins Band, Butthole Surfers, Jello Biafra) on Ween's Chocodog Records.

Naughty Clouds is a vigorous music duo led by poet Alexis Moon and drummer Ray Kubian (Dean Ween Group, Electric Six). Sometimes electric, sometimes acoustic, they share lead vocal duties (and sometimes trade instruments) to create a very original sound that is full of harmony, while still being percussive as f*ck.

"From a basement in New Brunswick NJ comes MR PAYDAY. With a
penchant for power pop and flat out rock and roll, Mr Payday blends
upbeat pop music with subversive and cutting lyrics. From their
3 part harmonies to the jet propelled rhythm section or their driving
piano and guitar, they can sound like the Flamin' Groovies or the Stones
one minute to Badfinger or Cheap Trick the next. Their 3rd record,
WELCOME TO THE MODERN WORLD, is out in August 2017 "

Elk City is a Montclair-based band founded by singer/songwriter, Renée LoBue and drummer/producer, Ray Ketchem. The band is set to release their fifth album, Everybody’s Insecure, in January. Relying heavily on the keyboard magic of Carl Baggaley and the ethereal tones of guitarists Sean Eden and Chris Robertson, the songs of Elk City seem hauntingly familiar yet uniquely their own. Elk City have toured extensively in Europe, have appeared on numerous compilation albums and have had their music placed in TV shows, movies and commercials. Recently, with the opening of Ketchem’s Montclair recording studio, Magic Door, they have worked with members of Guided By Voices, Shudder To Think, Versus and Luna.
