An Evening with King Crimson this Halloween

King Crimson

Progressive rock icons King Crimson are taking their 2017 North American ‘Radical Action’ Tour to Newark, NJ for one night only on Halloween, October 31, 2017 at 7:30pm.

King Crimson was conceived in 1968, and officially formed in 1969, in the Fulham Palace Cafe, London (Fripp/Ian McDonald/Greg Lake/Michael Giles/Pete Sinfield), coming to prominence after supporting The Rolling Stones at Hyde Park. Their ground-breaking debut In The Court Of The Crimson King (1969), described by Pete Townshend as "an uncanny masterpiece", began a career that has spanned nearly five decades.

The current 8-piece lineup includes founder Robert Fripp on guitar, Tony Levin on bass, singer-guitarist Jakko Jakszyk, and Mel Collins on flute and saxophones alongside the drummers and multi-instrumentalists, Gavin Harrison, Pat Mastelotto, Jeremy Stacey and Bill Rieflin. This iteration of the band has been touring since 2014, honoring the band’s strong reputation with three albums ("Live at The Orpheum", Live in Toronto" and "Radical Action to Unseat the Hold of Monkey Mind") and sold out shows across the globe – a testament to the band’s timeless and original sound.
