Stuart Hamm and Dean Brown are joining forces!
Two of the most heralded and creative musician/composers in the jazz-rock-fusion world along with drum genius, Gergo Borlai are hitting the road together for the first time.
Rarely have three musicians been so comfortable and capable of drawing from such a vast lexicon of styles to create a unique and compelling experience full of fire and beauty for the listener.
Stuart Hamm is a bassists’ bassist who is no stranger to the trio format as evidenced by his stellar work with Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Frank Gambale and Greg Howe. A true innovator, who’s vast technical range never overshadows his musicality or his love to just plain rock out. Stuart has spent the last decade wowing audiences with his own group and solo performances.
Dean Brown has worked with a who’s who in the global jazz-rock-fusion scene. Iconic artists such as Marcus Miller, Randy Brecker, Billy Cobham, Bill Evans and Dave Sanborn refer to him simply as ‘The Man”. His live performances are as exciting visually as they are sonically. Dean’s commitment to every note has been his calling card for those fortunate enough to have seen him perform. He IS the music.
Gergo Borlai is the monster drummer from Hungary who took Los Angeles by storm a few years back performing with a list of giants that include Gary Willis, Scott Kinsey, Scott Henderson, Matthew Garrison, Scott Kinsey Group, Tim Lefebvre, Steve Tavaglione, Walt Fowler, Bob Mintzer, Hiram Bullock, L. Shankar, Vernon Reid, Iain Ballamy, Al DiMeola, Nguyen Lee, Hadrien Feraud. Known for his incredible chops, it’s his sensitivity and musical understanding that keep ‘em coming back.
