Danielle Ate the Sandwich

Danielle Anderson

Danielle Ate the Sandwich, who answers to her grandmother as Danielle Anderson, is a Colorado based, indie-folk songwriter and ukulele player. Her music career was jumpstarted by the popularity of her homemade YouTube videos, that showcase her songs and silly personality. The true power of Danielle Ate the Sandwich, however, is her ability to sing stories both grand and small, with sweet vocals and thoughtful, honest lyrics. Danielle Ate the Sandwich has been touring nationally since 2009, cultivating a loyal and dedicated fan base, affectionately referred to as ‘Fanwiches.’ Sharing the stage with such acts as Mumford & Sons and Pomplamoose, Danielle has released 6 albums, the most recent, The Terrible Dinner Guest, was recorded in Norfolk, VA, and produced by Skye Zentz & Jacki Paolella. Danielle Ate the Sandwich also wrote The Drawing Back of Curtains, the soundtrack to the HBO documentary film ‘Packed in a Trunk: The Lost Art of Edith lake Wilkinson.’

Heather Mae

Heather Mae was once just a folk songwriter with a ukulele but after recovering from vocal nodules – which left her unable to sing for two years – she is stretching the limits of her music and her voice. Her newest EP, titled “I AM ENOUGH”, is a collection of five anthemic songs that encourage the listener to search for the best version of themselves while also shaking their hips to a new wave of pop – think Tegan & Sara, meets Sara Bareilles, with the vocal tenacity of Etta James. Each song is lyrically anthemic and features Heather Mae's brassy voice a la Etta James. Noted as an “empowering artist” by FLURT Magazine and “charming” by The Washington Post, Heather Mae is using her music to shed light on issues that are close to her heart such as body positivity, mental health, LGBTQ rights, and redefining what it means to be “good enough”. Mae has performed at many distinguished festivals including Kerrville and Falcon Ridge Folk Festival, Utah Pride and Cinema Systers Film Fest.
