Jared and Amber

Jared & Amber are in love with each other and with music. So naturally, they started making music together. Both went to school for music and quickly decided music was great and school was not. In 2006, they got married. They moved to the lovely city of Decatur in 2011 to pursue music together full-time. Since then they have had the pleasure of playing TedXAtlanta, writing for other artists, winning Eddie's Attic 2012 Songwriter Shootout, and being named one of the top 7 bands in Atlanta by AXS. They play their own brand of theatrical folk rock, and stand out from other rootsy duos with their soaring harmonies and intricate arrangements. Along for the ride are Audrey & Autumn (the twins!), their dog Ramona, a lot of coffee, and some fantastic family and friends.

Avery Gipson

Avery Gipson is a 16 year old singer-songwriter from Atlanta, GA, where she attends The Lovett School. Avery's musical journey took off in January 2016 when she played her first open mic and won a spot in the Open-Mic Shootout at Eddie's Attic. Later that year, she opened her first show (Jacob Harshman) at Red Clay Music Foundry and played in both the Open-Mic Shootout at Eddie's Attic and Red Clay, advancing to the quarterfinals in both. In November 2016, Avery was named a 2017 National YoungArts Foundation Merit Winner for the Vocal-Singer/Songwriter category. Avery sings in her church youth choir, school honors chorus, and is the vocalist for the Ellington Honors Jazz Ensemble, where she won Outstanding Jazz Soloist at FestivalDisney this past April. Most recently, Avery played in the 46th Bi-Annual Open Mic Shootout at Eddie's and advanced to the final round. Inspired by such artists as Sara Bareilles and Ed Sheeran, Avery is focused on developing her own unique sound and continuing to write strong songs that deeply affect the listener.
