Wimps is a punk rock band from Seattle, Washington featuring drummer Dave Ramm (formerly of the band The Intelligence), guitarist Rachel Ratner, and bassist Matt Nyce. Their debut album, Repeat, was released on End of Time Records in January 2013.[1] Repeat was the debut release for End of Time Records.[2]

They toured nationwide supporting the album, receiving coverage on This American Life,[3] Pitchfork, SPIN and KEXP. Following their return, they released a 7-inch on micro-label Help Yourself Records[4] and a series of self released tapes.

In July 2015, Kill Rock Stars announced that they are releasing the latest Wimps release on August 7, entitled Super Me EP. The EP was premiered on Noisey, who described Wimps as "a throwback punk outfit that is equal parts method and madness."[5] The Super Me EP will be followed up with a full-length album on Kill Rock Stars in late 2015.[6] On August 4, 2015, Seattle Weekly announced that Wimps was voted Best Punk Band of 2015 in the 2015 Best Of Seattle Reader Poll.[7]
