NHD is the super trio of songwriter/producers Salim Nourallah, Billy Harvey & Alex Dezen. Their debut album, "And the Devil Went Up to Portland," was recorded at Martie Maguire's (Dixie Chicks) HEK studios in Austin, Texas. It will be released in May 2017 on Palo Santo Records & features 11 rollicking songs in which all three singers swap vocal & instrumental duties.

If a Beatle was left in the desert at age 3 and raised in El Paso, Texas, you’d have Salim Nourallah…He is a North Texas music scene fixture. After gaining initial acclaim with the Denton-based Nourallah Brothers Salim has gone on to release several solo albums and produce a fine list of many others (including the Old 97s, Rhett Miller, Deathray Davies & the Damnwells). His solo debut Polaroid (2004) was met with reviews like this one: “discovering a singer-songwriter who can stop time is rare, but Salim Nourallah is such a find…” (Rolling Stone). Beautiful Noise followed in 2006 to more critical acclaim and he swept the Dallas Observer music awards with Best Album/Best Song and Best Producer. Salim has gone on to win 5 consecutive Observer Awards for Best Producer. His 6th solo cd, Skeleton Closet, was released in August 2015. Skeleton Closet garnered more favorable press like "It’s this masterful balance of the said and the unsaid, the hook and the unexpected kicker that set Salim Nourallah. Skeleton Closet is like a good novel, full of implications and shadowy contradictions and complexities. ”

Billy Harvey continues to play his own brand of Post-Modern Pop, working also as a producer for artists like Charlie Mars, Bob Schneider, Slaid Cleaves and Steve Poltz. A prolific writer, he's received an International Songwriters Award for Best Rock Song, "Frozen Through," and broke into the Top 100 on the CMJ Charts with his 2007 release Bear Sick. "Heading for the Hills," from his latest album the Everlasting War was featured on ABC's Private Practice. "The Greatest Escape" won a Best Song Award when it was highlighted in Strings, a multiple award winning festival release in which Billy starred as a troubled musician. Billy has released an impressive collection of 8 solo records since 2002 and currently resides in Nashville. His latest solo record, Elephants in the Room, was just released in February of 2017. "Billy Harvey is better than everyone at everything he does..." King Pancho (Austin singer/artist/sage).

Alex Dezen was the lead singer and songwriter for the Brooklyn rock and roll band, The Damnwells. The Damnwells paired Dezen's slow, codeine-laced ballads with uptempo rock numbers and released 5 full-length records since 2003. Alex is also a multi-platinum selling songwriter and has since released songs with artists such as Justin Bieber, Matt Hires, Court Yard Hounds, Cody Simpson, and others. He also holds an MFA degree in English from The University of Iowa's Iowa Writers' Workshop. Alex Dezen II was released earlier this year to rave reviews and Alex embarked on another national tour in support of it.

Demitasse is a two piece downbeat, softly sung acoustic group. This is the side project for Erik Sanden and Joe Reyes of the band Buttercup. Demitasse was chosen by NPR as one of the top bands to see at SXSW 2014. Singing high falsetto harmonies the band lilts between melody, spoken word and noise. The sound is somewhere between Simon & Garfunkel, Leonard Cohen, and the Beach Boys on a dark day.
