The Heave-Ho

Pete played the guitar and thought he might be able to sing. Barry (Keith S.) played the bass. Jason played the drums. Harlem Greenwood (Marc S.) almost made parole, broke out of a maximum security halfway house and stole a firetruck because he thought it would be funny. We figured we could be a good band. We may or may not have been right.

Rolling Nectar

Boston-based ROLLING NECTAR embraces vintage-style rock 'n roll influences such as Free, Jimi Hendrix, and Humble Pie, creating a uniquely honest and gritty modern rock sound laced with psychedelic overtones, Americana & old-school Rhythm & Blues. Fronted by founder Kevin J. Graham (vocals/guitar), and backed by the TNT rhythm section of bruising drummer Tony St. Cyr and multi-instrumentalist Todd M. Smith on bass, Rolling Nectar has recently added guitar stylist Nick Moreira, and are accompanied onstage by backing vocalists Leah Hinton and Christine Moser, known as the "Nectarines". The band won the Boston Hard Rock Rising competition in 2016, was nominated for the 2016 "Rock Act Of The Year" by the New England Music Awards, and was a 2015 finalist in the "Last Band Standing" competition at the Hard Rock. They recently opened for international touring act Tyler Bryant and the Shakedown, the legendary Rusted Root, and a special tribute featuring members of Foghat and Badfinger, as well as being the personal local rock favorite of the Boston Red Sox organization, having been invited to perform before games on several occasions. Rolling Nectar has recorded with renowned producer Phil Greene (Peter Wolf, Keith Richards, Mick Jagger) and recently worked at Woolly Mammoth studio with uber-producer/guitarist David Minehan of The Neighborhoods & Paul Westerberg/Replacements fame. In this day and age, high-quality rock 'n roll bands with uniquely talented members are hard to come by. Rolling Nectar is the genuine article.

The Rupert Selection

The Rupert Selection is the creation of Reilly Somach, Zak Brown and Peter Crofton: a trio of longtime high-school friends from Manchester-By-The-Sea, MA. What was initially intended as a fun side project in 2008, soon morphed into a serious endeavor as the band honed their skills with dozens of shows throughout 2010. Conspiritorium, their self-produced, debut album was released in early 2011. The band has since continued to write thoroughly innovative and original material and perform virtually non-stop throughout New England and, most recently, in venues in NYC, NJ, DE, and PA as their fanbase continues to grow. 2016 alone featured the release of their first official single and self-directed music video for “Funeral Party" with another for "Tree Hands" released later in the year, airplay on Boston radio, and more than 40 shows throughout New England and the Mid-Atlantic. So far, 2017 is shaping up to be the biggest year yet with the release of a new EP "Baseball Practice" in March that was recorded at The Bridge Sound and Stage in Cambridge, MA with producer/engineer Alex Allinson, finishing as a finalist in the historic Rock and Roll Rumble competition in April, sessions well underway for another EP and dates booked throughout New England and the North East. With their high energy performances and mind-bending blend of genres, The Rupert Selection are a power trio in every sense of the word and not to be missed.

Matt York Music

Matt York grew up in Foxboro catching virtually every concert held there. He started playing the clubs of Boston as a teenager and became the longtime frontman of indie band, Wide Iris. Wide Iris released four CDs, received airplay on nearly every local radio station and played over 400 shows throughout the Northeast. They appeared in the 2000 WBCN Rock and Rumble. The Boston Globe describes him this way “Matt York knows what rock 'n' roll is supposed to sound like and do: Make you bob your head and pound your fist and forget about everything but the riff, your beer and your bruised heart"
