In the last 2 years and a half years, the Kelley McRae duo has played over 300 shows coast to coast and traveled over 75,000 miles in their VW van. Along the way Kelley encountered the people and places that inspired the songs on her new album, BRIGHTER THAN THE BLUES. Kelley's brand of heartfelt Americana has found impressive fans: Paste Magazine gave her four stars, and WNYC's 'Soundcheck' named her performance one of the years best. Kelley performs as an acoustic duo with her husband Matt, and they have performed at such venues as The Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, The Red Clay Theatre in Atlanta, and The Living Room in NYC. Previously residing in NYC, the duo is currently writing and recording new material in a cabin in the Nantahala Forest of North Carolina.
HI my name is Rachel Hope! I am a 15 year old alternative singer/songwriter from Clearwater, Florida. I’m really excited to say I will be traveling to Nashville, TN the first week of May to record 3 songs with Dale Oliver of Oliver Twist Productions. He has produced songs for Casting Crowns, Carrie Underwood, and former American Idol contestant Bucky Covington. Next month I hope to produce a cover video, so be looking forward to that! Right now I am mostly performing at small cafes and always looking for opportunities to perform and new places to go to.
My influences of my music vary from 21 pilots, to Coldplay, to Melanie Martinez. The creativity they put into their music truly inspires me to be greater and to make my music different and something new that people aren’t used to hearing or have never heard before.
I’ve been writing music since I was 9 years old and it is a huge passion of mine. I love to write about experiences that I have been through, but also experiences that I know others have been through. My goal through my music is to shine light on situations that don’t usually get brought up in the music industry and show people that they are not the only ones that have been through what they are going through. I also just want to bring hope to people and show them that they can get through any hardship that comes their way.
