Onelia "Nellybombs" Llano is a modern day sultry & soulful singer/songwriter from
Poughkeepsie NY. After about a year of performing live with a funk cover band and local open mics she realized that music was truly her passion. The shows have allowed her to meet some great local musicians, enabling her to begin a project of her own. Nelly is in the early stages of recording her first album so her focus for the last few months has been writing and shaping her own sound, which has splashes of all of her influences and idols. Mixing the classic sounds of blues, soul, funk and R&B, with modern aspects taken from dance, pop and hip-hop music. Her lyrics are an honest representation of herself and inspired by her own personal journey. Nellybombs recently started performing her own material live and the reception and feedback has been outstanding. Whether she is doing an intimate acoustic set, or with a full band behind her, she has begun to create quite a buzz in the local music scene. This a great time to see an artist that has an undeniable music career ahead of her and that is sure to leave an impression that won't be forgotten any time soon.
