Ooklah The Moc, formed in 1997, hails from O'ahu, Hawaii and is known internationally for their roots-dub-reggae sound. Through the years and several lineup changes, Ooklah has become a strictly reggae band and has settled on its present 8-person lineup in 2000. Their roots are with punk rock music, however, over the years have morphed into a roots sensation.

Ooklah The Moc has played shows all over O'ahu, Maui, Kaua'I and the Big Island. They have likewise opened for many international artists such as Michael Rose, Many members of the Marley Family, Yami Bolo, Gregory isaacs and Wailing Souls, Aswad and many others.

The name name Ooklah The Moc comes from a cartoon, Thundarr The Barbarian. A post-apocalyptal world with Thundarr (a sort of robin hood) riding around with his sidekicks, princess Ariel and Ookla the Mok.

With over a decade of experience, four studio albums and performances with the some of the biggest names in reggae, Ooklah has a bright future.

Josh Heinrichs & Skillinjah

Josh Heinrichs is a stalwart in the American and worldwide reggae community. Beginning his own reggae band, Jah Roots, in Springfield, Missouri in 2001 as well as forming his own record label, GanJah Records. Josh wrote and recorded 5 albums with his former band, Jah Roots, and gained a loyal independant following via Myspace and a tireless touring schedule from 2005-2009. Josh left Jah Roots in 2009 to pursue a solo career and work on blossoming his label and helping other local reggae artists get there music out. Since starting his solo career, he has released, Five, Top 10 debuting albums of his own and 3 other artists(SkillinJah, 77 Jefferson & Lance Sitton) albums all to Top 10 releases as well on his label, GanJah Records. On March 26th, 2013 Josh's EP "Rooftop Session" was the 1st of any of his albums to officially debut at #1 on the iTunes Reggae Charts and at #2 on Billboards Top Selling Reggae albums chart. As a solo artist, Josh has toured the entire USA coast to coast multiple times and has performed 5 Hawaiian tours as well. He has also shared the stage along the way with headline acts like Bob Marleys children(Ziggy,Stephen, Damian,etc...), SOJA, Tribal Seeds and many more. Josh has made numerous appearances at music festivals all over the USA and Hawaii from 3 appearances at The largest Reggae festival in USA, California Roots to Gathering of the Vibes, Reggae In The Hills, Wildfire Music Fest, Bricktown Reggae Fest, the local Schwagstock music fests, Kulia Roots Fest in Hawaii as well as hosting his own Springfield,MO Reggae Fests which have garnered acts like SOJA, Junior Marvin of Bob Marley and The Wailers, Marlon Asher, Natty Vibes, Fortunate Youth and many more to Springfield, Missouri to come perform with Josh in his hometown.

Jah Roots was a reggae band from Springfield, Missouri. The band was active from 2001 to 2009. They released several albums under the independent label GanJah Records, with a local and international following. Jah Roots broke up in 2009. Since then, lead singer Josh Heinrichs has established a successful solo career.

For Peace Band

For Peace Band is a group of musicians that perform the art of roots/rock/reggae music. In the year 2013, they experimented with their sound of live music at many rehearsals. Instantaneously, They began playing at numerous venues on the island of Guam. After enduring the club circuit, For Peace collaborated with local hip/hop group LGpro at Yigo Amusment Park for their first concert with the masses. Furthermore, the bands main objective was to promote their dominion of writing more original songs before the end of the year. To maintain their persistence of playing live reggae music, the group traveled to the Hawaii Islands to perform with many local acts such as Kapu System, Irie Souls, The Vitals, The Ionz, The Up Heights, The Uprights and many more. Thereafter, the band came back to Guam with a irrevocable passion to write a full length album. In the summer of 2014, For Peace Band released "Forwards Ever" that peaked at #9 on the Reggae iTunes chart on it's first week. Subsequently, the group continues to collaborate with non-profit organizations and conventions wherever they're acquired or needed. Also, For Peace is working on their sophomore album "Always Love" and pending other releases for the future. Welcoming the new year 2015, For Peace Band will be collaborating with International artists Josh Heinrich and Skillinjah on January 16th at Trench Fest.
