The Brummy Brothers
Bursting on to the scene mid-2012, The Brummy Brothers' inspiring rhythms, infectious melodies, and undeniable ability to plow through a set with fiery passion and intensity keep them busy with over 100 shows a year up and down the East Coast.
The New Jersey natives' original blend of bluegrass, rock, and improvisation forms a sound and energy that allows them to be found playing anywhere from rock clubs, to folk festivals, to farmers markets. And it's a good thing, because if one thing is clear, it's that these guys love to play music.
In May 2014 The Brummy Brothers released their debut album "On Our Way" produced by Tim Carbone of Railroad Earth. The album allows the band to share the composite of their time together. The record incorporates harmonizing voices, striking instrumental prowess, and expert arrangement to bring everything together.
Andrew Morris - Guitar, Vocals
Dave Brumberg - Bass, Vocals
Eric Brumberg - Mandolin, Vocals
Russell Gottlieb - Banjo, Vocals
Balkun Brothers is an world renowned psychedelic blues-rock band hailing from Hartford, Connecticut (USA). Originally formed in 2010 by brothers Nick and Steve Balkun, Balkun Brothers has been described as, “Spectacular torch-bearers for rockin’ American blues… The band brings a raw, soulful and energetic personality that is a fresh sound for blues and rock ’n roll.”
Philadelphia based chanteuse, Raina Mullen has been busy. Since graduating college in the spring of 2015 she has written and recorded her first EP titled “I Dare You”, joined progressive-Americana act, American Babies, and spent the rest of the year touring the nations top clubs, theaters, and festivals.
As is evident throughout her EP, Ms. Mullen’s voice is a force. From the bruising hook of the title track to the intimacy of the folky “Calling”, Raina conjures the perfect mix of early Brandi Carlile and Feist.
2016 doesn’t look like things will be slowing down anytime soon. Raina will continue to tour the US as a solo artist, as well as with “American Babies” behind their fourth LP, “An Epic Battle Between Light and Dark” (March 2016 via Royal Potato Family, which Raina was a key contributor. In her time off of the road she will be finding her way back into the studio to begin work on her debut LP.
