As we all know, concerts are a social phenomenon. We don’t want to go to shows alone, and typically, we don’t. At Ticketfly, we’re committed to making the ticket-buying experience a social one. Buying a ticket is where the concert experience starts, right? Why shouldn’t the party start as soon as possible?
Well we’ve added some really cool features to the Ticketfly site today. Not only will it make the purchase experience less, well, lonely…but it does the most important thing a promoter can ask for – it sells more tickets!
So how does it work? Well, let me show you! The magic starts with our Ticketfly Amplifier. If you’re a club owner or promoter, and you create an event on Ticketfly, you can automagically “Amplify” that event to Facebook and Twitter through our one-click integration feature. Neat!
And now- many of our events have a Facebook RSVP feature. Check it out! A fan buys a ticket from the event page and clicks “RSVP”…
And then BAM, it’s shared on their Facebook wall, for all their friends to see! With a direct link to the official Facebook page. Which was also created with no extra effort on the promoter’s part!

Wow, 73 people are going to that show and telling everyone they know about it. That’s more powerful than any old ad in the free paper or a flier on a telephone pole. And the best part is…IT’S FREE! This is all in addition to our existing “Share” and “Tweet” features.
Well, what if one of your ticket buyers is checking out a show page and they have a question or comment about the band that they want to share with their Facebook friends, as well as the other folks going to the show? Easy- we now have social commenting on events!
Check out this event coming up at The Rickshaw Stop. Commenting on the show and sharing it with my Facebook contacts was as easy as typing in a box and clicking once. Not only that, but other folks going to the show can make friends with me. Since we all know we have the same taste in events!

In addition to these exciting features, our website got a small facelift today in some other ways! As the #1 most social ticketer, we thought we should move some of our communities up front and center. Take a second to Friend or Follow us! Plus you can check out some of our most popular venues, or check out our Affiliate Network and the great partners we already have. Yes, if you sell your tickets on Ticketfly, your events show up on ALL those websites, with no extra effort or cost. Cool.
Don’t you want to sell more tickets by engaging your fans who are already going to the show? Check out Ticketfly now!
