The Lucille Ball Comedy Festival presents
Tropicana Room Lunch: Lucy's Lost Movie
Aug 6, 2014
The Lucille Ball Desi Arnaz Center
2 West Third Street
In the mid-1960s, Lucille Ball Productions began the preproduction phase of a movie entitled “Diamond Jim Brady” about the larger-than-life American tycoon and philanthropist who had a sensational love affair with the dynamic actress and singer, Lillian Russell. Despite a script completely finished and set design concepts underway, the movie, set to star Jackie Gleason and Lucille Ball, never entered the production phase. Join us at this Tropicana Room event where the Lucy Desi Museum and Center for Comedy’s curation team tells the story of Lucy’s Lost Movie. A choice of Yankee Pot Roast, Caribbean Chicken & Rice, or Pasta with Roasted Garden Vegetables will be served. Please note you may be seated with another friendly couple.
