Platform Software Engineer – Ticketfly – San Francisco (SoMa)
Ticketfly is the fastest-growing, independent ticketing and social marketing platform with an analytics bent. With the merger of Ticketmaster and Live Nation, independent venues and promoters across the country are looking elsewhere for event ticketing and social marketing services. Enter Ticketfly. We’ve signed up 175+ of the leading music venues and promoters and are on track to sell over 2.5 million tickets this year. Of course, what follows this growth and success is continued innovation and scaling of our technology. We’re looking for experienced engineers that have a passion for building large scale web technology and are excited at the opportunity to shake up the live music industry. Ticketfly was founded in 2008 by industry veterans Dan Teree and Andrew Dreskin who previously started TicketWeb, which sold the first online ticket in 1995 and was later acquired by Ticketmaster for $35M in 2000.
