Peewee Moore & The Awful Dreadful Snakes
As an award winning and highly acclaimed Outlaw Country Singer/Songwriter Peewee Moore tours around on an average or 45,000 miles a year doing an endless string of one night stands at honky tonks, dance halls, festivals, and theaters.
Born and raised in the foothills of the Appalachian Rainforest just across the TN border in Fort Oglethorpe, GA, Peewee spent most of his time haunting the streets of Chattanooga TN playing many of his first shows in, and around the "Choo Choo" city. Peewee spent the consecutive years making a name for himself as an accomplished picker, and songwriter throughout the Southeast. In 2010 he moved to Austin Texas the "Live Music Capitol Of The World" long enough to make the contacts necessary to be a staple and gain a foothold in the Austin Scene then decided to move back to Tennessee landing in the mountains between Chattanooga and Nashville.
With the gift of raw talent, and showmanship Peewee has been fortunate enough to be able to share the stage with several of his hero's, as well as some of outlaw country, americana, and rockabilly's most well known, and recieved acts such as Kris Kristofferson, Billy Joe Shaver, David Allen Coe, Ralph Stanley, Dwight Yoakam, Charlie Daniels, Dicky Betts, Cowboy Jack Clement, Steve Earle, Red Simpson, Shooter Jennings, Junior Brown, Chris Knight, Todd Snyder, Wanda Jackson, The Blasters, Southern Culture On The Skids, and countless others.
Peewee Moore's music is broadcast on Sirius/XM's Outlaw Country Channel as well as over 1,000 different AM & FM stations, internet radio, and podcast's worldwide.
Kentucky has always been known for Bluegrass & Bourbon, but the roots of Jericho Woods run far deeper into the veins of the musical culture of this region. “I dig this band, they know their roots, haven’t gotten above their raisin’ and do know their state and musical heritage,” says Greg Martin of The Kentucky Headhunters. Jericho Woods fuses the Grand Ole Opry with Muscle Shoals. A musical experience that only boys brought up in this diverse commonwealth could produce. With influences ranging from outlaw country, jam bands, roots rock, to folk & bluegrass, Jericho Woods take the best of all and craft their own unique blend. Members Include: Josh Mitcham (guitar & vocals), Paul Priest (bass & vocals), Jory Hutchens (fiddle) and Dustin Spencer (drums).
Jericho Woods, a five member group that rides a hazy line between country and americana, premiered on both the “Billboard Heatseeker” and “iTunes Country Album” Chart with their debut album Same Ol’ Dirt. For an independent act, it was a milestone to get inside the Top 25 on the “iTunes Country Album” charts. However, to make the Top 8 “Billboard Heatseeker” Charts alongside Brandy Clark, Ralph Stanley and Butch Walker was truly an amazing feat and a testament to their active, supportive fan base.
“I’ve seen a lot of acts come through the music scene in the last 30 years that have tried to master that balance of country, rock and americana influences,” says Pam Lewis, President of PLA Media. “However, until Jericho Woods, I had never heard an act that was able to develop such a distinctively, unique sound. With their organic delivery, you’re left with this concoction that’s one part Johnny Cash and one part Black Crowes.”
Jericho Woods marks the latest addition to the celebrated roster at PLA Media, a company that currently represents the world renowned Johnny Cash Museum and Tina Turner Museum alongside country legends and leaders Lynn Anderson, Phil Vassar, Bryan White and Ashton Shepherd.
Taylor Shannon hails from the Cincinnati, OH area and is fast becoming one of the hottest acts to hit the independent music scene. With deep seeded roots in country/americana and rock and roll, his brand of "country soul" delivered with strong vocals make for a fantastic live & energetic performance.
