From Autumn to Ashes

"If I wanted to make a comeback would kids receive me?"
Asked by From Autumn To Ashes' vocalist Francis Mark on the bands 2005 album Abandon Your Friends, this poignant lyric unknowingly foreshadowed an unexpected turn of events in November 2014. Nearly seven years after announcing their "indefinite hiatus," Francis Mark, Brian deNeeve, Mike Pilato ,Rob Lauritsen, and Jeff Gretz announced they would reunite in 2015 to showcase their influential brand of post-hardcore.
From Autumn To Ashes gained a reputation for being one of the more melodic bands in East Coast hardcore. Their sound evolved from a variety of influences such as metal, hardcore, and thrash to alternative rock and emo. In 2001, From autumn To Ashes recorded their debut
album, Too Bad Your'e Beautiful, for Ferret Music and despite limited distribution, quickly sold well over 50,000 copies. In 2002, FATA signed with Vagrant Records and over the course of the next six years released three studio albums; "The Fiction We Live" (2003), "Abandon Your Friends" (2005), and the widely acclaimed "Holding A Wolf by the Ears" (2007). In 2008, the band released Live at Looney Tunes, their first and only live album.
With 2015 in sight, and a new road ahead, one thing is clear; From Autumn To Ashes have managed to carve their own niche while consistently being a significant influence on a newer generation of bands.

Fashion Week

The FASHION WEEK sect unites a lovingly scummy cast of NYC amp-heads who have collectively deafened many humans through work with Jarboe, Man's Gin, Nakatomi Plaza, Go Deep, Family, Vampillia and many more this millennium, who within this unit, dispatch a brew of belligerence that remains somewhat unclassifiable, although elements of an awesome host of influences course through the somehow cohesive creations.
