Sitting at the keys and singing with a soulful passion influenced by the great piano legends of our time Matt Farr brings high energy and a feel good vibe to the stage. Growing up on the shores of South Florida, influenced by cases full of tapes and shelves full of old LP's ranging from jazz greats, to 60's rock icons, to reggae masters, and modern day hipsters, Farr's music is a blend of soulful lyrics, classic grooves, and vintage tones.

"Kevin Kozel, senior writer for MusicReviews.Com says, "I think that Matt Farr would put on a really nice outdoor show any time of year. A nice cold one in the heat would go nicely with this sound."

Matt Farr's latest solo album was released in April of 2010. The album was recorded in St. Augustine, FL by legendary producer Jim DeVito. Matt Farr's dedication and future potential has attracted world class musicians on both his album and on stage including Craig Barnette, known for his work with Mofro and Donavon Frankenreiter. Pete Winders and Eric Brigmond, also known for their work with Frankenreiter. Rounding out the lineup is Farr's long time friend and collaborator Craig Stevens on bass. Farr has never been moved or interested in mainstream trends and wanted to capture the raw, timeless sound of the 60's and 70's. The ten uplifting tracks on the solo release speak about living each day doing what you love, and learning from all those times that may have past us bye like the album's four on the floor, upbeat track "Living Like Ourselves" or the acoustic ballad "Crossroad". "Mostly I just want to bring across a musical journey that reaches out to the listener, and once it ends, they want to start again at track one" Farr explains.

Pushing on into the ever changing and challenging music climate Matt Farr launched his own entertainment company and record label Red Key Music (2008). Since then, his success ranges from projects being featured in the 2009 Grammy Award gift bag to playing South Florida's largest music festival SunFest 2010, and opening for acts such as Five For Fighting, The Family Stone, Ryan Montbleau Band and others.

Dale J. Gordon has been writing, recording and performing for more than 15 years. In this year of 2011, on the 4th of July; he completed and released his 91st album, White Trash Jazz.
