"…a glorious mess of noise, industrial, punk, pop, and hip-hop." - Afropunk

Rooted in the ghettos of Baltimore, Abdu Ali raps, sings, and chats over unorthodox sounds, creating music that's green, provoking, and quenching. His work to conquer musical boundaries has put in him in genre categories along lines of afro-futurism to punk to hip hop to "post-apocalyptic" sounding. Ali, has become known for being a Baltimore music icon, his energetic visceral performances, spiritualizing audiences as a cosmic, punk, and soulful tempest on stage. Recently he has been also been inspired to DJ with sets that focus on music genres of subcultures from around the world, especially his hometown sound Baltimore Club. He is also the curator of the emerging boundary breaking KAHLON, a bimonthly music event in Baltimore. Unapologetically black and queer, Abdu Ali is bold, raw, and most importantly life-affirming.

"Church sermon-worthy incantations… With a refreshingly transparent catalog and a performance more gripping and energetic than most (seriously, this dude gets so turnt)" - Complex

Abdu Ali has done several tours all over the US and released 4 music projects. He has shared the same stage with various artists like Big Freedia to BLACKIE to Lor Scoota, will be touring with Lower Dens in early Fall, and his work has been covered by Noisey, Frank151, Stereogum, The Fader, and many more.
