Noah Smith grew up exploring the endless trails of woods and still waters of Brown County, Ohio. At a very young age Noah knew music would be his life’s path. Cereal bowls turned into drum sets, endless hours of garageband practices, and an insatiable ambition that lyrics and melodies could transcend it all would be early indicators of his life filled with music. As a songwriter and a performer Noah was influenced by a wide array of musical influence such as Paul Simon, Johnny Cash, Alan Jackson, to bands like Brand New, Taking Back Sunday, and Death Cab for Cutie. Humbled by the impact these greats left on his life he often reflects on a modified version of his favorite Sir Isaac Newton quote, referring to himself as a boy who has “walked on the shoulders of giants.”

As his story continues Noah Smith has now had opportunity to share the stage with some of the industry’s most talented Artist such as Josh Turner, Cassade Pope, Steve Miller Band, David Alan Coe, Aaron Tippin, Reckless Kelly, Crystal Bowersox, Levi lowery and Andrew Combs. Noah has continued to grow and flourish as an artist. Lyrically Noah creates a simple home for his listeners to briefly escape to. Musically his energy and presence on stage impacts rooms large and small. Touring regionally with several bands over the years, Noah has found himself a home away from home in music city. Lately Noah finds himself writing on a weekly basis out of Nashville, TN. His music is a capsule of childhood faith, ambition, a little bit of love, God's good word, and the uphill climb to living an American boys dream.

“No matter what the sounds, I was putting on my homemade mix tapes, there was always a story involved. Lyrics mattered most to me, if Ohio is the melting pot of the country? My mixtapes were cassettes patchworked together with the same sonic landscape. I can only hope my songwriting does the same.”

Noah is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music with a degree in Electronic Media, Music Production and Audio & Video Design. It was during college while building life experiences, Noah’s songwriting began to flourish. Heart Ache, God's Blessing, and the devils conviction all found their way into his life and the lyrics he penned. After deciding to go out on his own and start his solo career, Noah received numerous accolades including Nominations for Best Live Act, Best Country Artist and Artist of the year 2016 Cincinnati Entertainment Awards. Noah has several releases on various Media Outlets and is currently touring 10 states throughout the midwest.

With God given talent and natural musical inclination, Noah’s old soul, deep thinking, and love for lyrics led him to an aggressive path of writing songs, everyday simple prose and melody immediately found their way into storytelling at its best, songwriting.

The Grove is a Cincinnati based rock band that draws from an impressive range of influences to forge their hard-hitting, yet emotive, signature sound.

Built around the songs of lead vocalist/guitarist Adam Forsthoefel, the band has been described as, "The Black Crowes meets The Red Hot Chili Peppers"; careful listeners will also hear shades of everything from Stevie Ray Vaughan to the Killers.

The Grove’s origins were in the band SomeDaze, started by Forsthoefel and drummer Jeff Voegele, who attended high school together in Anderson, Ohio. SomeDaze quickly became one of the hot upcoming bands in Cincinnati, with performances at local clubs and festivals as well as several appearances on Cincinnati’s local news channel Fox 19. While the band’s reputation grew, Forsthoefel became known in his own rite as a local guitar phenomenon. He was regularly invited to open Cincinnati Reds games at the Great American Ball Park with his rendition of the national anthem, and made the rounds doing interviews for local radio stations and NPR.

After High School, Forsthoefel and Voegele moved to Athens, OH to attend Ohio University, where they started playing with local Athens players at venues such as Jackie O’s and The Union. Eventually they joined with members of the band Standing on Friday, and rehearsals began at their house on Grosvenor Street. These rehearsals at “The Grove” started becoming informal shows; it wasn’t long before the band that was born there became a mainstay of the Athens music scene, releasing their debut CD “Procuriosity” in December of 2012. In addition to playing in Athens, The Grove made frequent trips back to Cincinnati, playing local music festivals and at the famed Fountain Square.

When Forsthoefel and Voegele returned to Cincinnati after graduation, they decided to keep The Grove alive and added new members to replace those it had left in Athens-Adam’s brother Matthew Forsthoefel on keyboards, and bassist Matt Holt (Bolt) holding down the low end. They then quickly got to work re-introducing themselves to the Cincinnati scene, playing local buzz rooms like The Northside Tavern, Bogarts, Madison Theater, Stanley's Pub, and The Backstage Café. The band continues to write and record new music while winning new fans with their energetic live show and solid musicianship.

A songwriter looks through a different lens when he looks at the world around him. At any second a flicker of light, a statement in a passing conversation, or the deafening intensity of silence can become the catalyst for the chance to write the next song. The race to put on paper the fleeting thought. One that won't take long before it vanishes.

That craft has been in the life of Michael Moeller ever since he picked up an instrument and knew he had something to say. Referred to as an "Old Soul", Michael writes the songs he sees around him, writes the songs he feels, and writes the songs he experiences. Life, Loss, Love, Joy, Faith.
