What's up, we are Dimidium. We started back in 2005 and played our first show in February 2006 and haven't stopped since! Our goal has always been to play music that we really enjoy and deliver it with the intent for you to be amazed and want more. We are especially known for our stage presence. When we play, we pull out all the stops to bring you a thrashing and energetic show that you will never forget. Over the years we have had many band member changes, but we continue to push forward to take over this town one venue at a time! Come out to a Dimidium show, you will never forget it! The Devil Himself
It begins with a low rumble, almost immediately discountable as nothing more than distant thunder. A trembling vibration which builds, akin to that which must have accompanied Dante in his explorations of the many levels of Hell. It grows, adding layer upon layer of sonic menace, building, surging, flowing. As it peaks, muted colors explode forth, licking the senses with fire, with passion, with longing. The ground seethes and pulsates around your feet as you realize there is no escape. All of your pride, your desire, your love, your hate spill out of your soul and surge back to embrace you as a lover. And when it finally releases you, as you tremble through the glowing afterward...... it begins again. This is the Devil Himself
Cylinder
Gimmicks don’t excite us anymore. Trends swell and crest and wash away. Great bands possess power in the intangible space between competing forces—it’s there that Cylinder will take you and leave you for dead--a place where somber tones contrast with an uplifting power. Where raw aggression clashes with technical proficiency and gives rise to a massive sound. A place where lyrics avowing heart come from a voice that is simultaneously willing to tear yours out. In short, Cylinder’s music represents what we need: a complex soul and uncaged spirit
