Carrie Clark and The Lonesome Lovers
Kitt Bender
An Oregon native weaned on classics by Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, the Beach Boys and ABBA, Carrie Clark immersed herself in music at an early age, teaching herself to play piano and guitar, and writing her own songs. Her diverse musical palette is unsurprising given her wide-ranging performance background: since moving to Seattle, her ventures have included an indie pop ensemble, a folk duo, and a jazz big band. She's also proven adept at sharing stages with myriad artists, appearing on bills with Laura Veirs, Mark Olsen of the Jayhawks, Basia Bulat, and Portland's notorious Vagabond Opera.
With a unique blend of acoustic pop, Kitt Bender has been making waves through the Pacific Northwest. By combining the melodic sensibilities of a singer/songwriter with modern electronic grooves, a fresh sound brings listeners to life.
An Oregon native, Kitt studied music in Oklahoma where he played and sang his way all over the US and Australia earning not only a degree in music composition, but plenty of stage time.
Kitt released his debut album, One Of Those Days in 2009, followed by a live album, Awake At Midnight, in 2010. He will spend the next few months progressively releasing singles he has been perfecting over the last few years starting with his new single, Where The Yellow Daisies Died available from his website, iTunes, amazonMP3, Spotify and other places music can be found the internet.
