Gasoline Heart, Steve Gilbert, Aqualads, The Kyle Perkins Band

Gasoline Heart

Gasoline Heart is a band with nothing to lose - so they make music that you can hold up like a mirror and see who you are, and what you could be. Why be in a band? For these guys, it's the need to take the chance you thought you never could, go out on a limb, give her one last look, and see where it all leads.

Steve Gilbert

Born and raised in southwest Virginia, Steve Gilbert has been involved in music since joining his first band at the age of fifteen. Self-taught on many different instruments, he draws from a wide range of musical influences, including everything from punk and heavy metal to folk and other traditional forms of music. He has opened for the likes of Bobby Bare, Jr and Will Hoge and has shared the stage with Tom Bettini (of Jackyl fame).
Steve was a founding member and main songwriter of the influential ska/punk band, The GhoulTones, who were featured on two nationally released compilation albums and two self-released albums. He was also a founding member and main songwriter for the rock band, Ablazing Grace, who gained a large following by travelling heavily through the region, releasing one very well received EP, and being featured in the soundtrack to the independent film, "The Boys Of Summerville".
Both of Steve's current releases, "Steve Gilbert & The Accomplices" and "Turn The Dial", feature Jason Wilson on bass and Scott Thomas on drums, along with other assorted friends and guest musicians. Both CDs again display Steve's talents in blending varying styles of music (namely folk and punk) to create something familiar yet still original.
He is currently completing writing songs for his third CD.

The Aqualads first formed in the summer/fall of 1996. In 1997 their first EP
"Aqualads Xmas" was released. The first full length recording "Aqualads Hotbox"
was released in 1998, followed by their sophomore effort "Aqualads Revenge" in
1999. In 2003 "Surf Surf Surf" was released, gaining the band a wider audience.
After playing hundreds of shows and festivals, contributing to various compilations
and soundtracks, 2011 saw the release of "Aqualads Treasures" as well as "An Oso
Grande Christmas". With plans to continue recording and playing live the "Alads"
are here to stay. Surfs Up!!
