Mala In Se are a three piece noise-rock/art-metal band from Cincinnati/NKY. Their sound is difficult to describe. Perhaps the definition of the band name describes them best. Literally translated it means wrongs in themselves; acts morally wrong; offenses against conscience. They deconstruct concepts from a large cache of musical genres, yet have concocted a truly unique sound and vision. Wrong and right. The foundation begins with the (un)usual guitar, bass, and drums. Then it becomes dense with layers of samples, feedback, found sounds, and auxillery percusion. Lastly, lyrics are delivered in numerous unsettling ways via shrieks (Thompson) and yells (Perkins). Now with newly acquired drummer Danny McPherson, there is an even more urgent agility to the music. Expect the next release to go even further....much further.

Knife The Symphony is influenced by art, skate culture, film and music. Musically, the band's influences range from early American punk-music and the hardcore and post-hardcore of the 1980's and 90's to world music and straight-ahead rock. Now in their thirties, the band members grew up listening to anything they could. From the first sounds ever heard on MTV in the early 80's to reggae and anything ever released by Dischord, SST, Touch & Go (and everything inbetween). It all comes out in their own music. Their energy and passion is all their own.

The Pies have been rocking the No. KY/Cinci area for almost 12 years now without a change in band lineup. A sonic collision of The Who, Aerosmith, U2, and Neil Young - the Pies put forth Rockmusic, Blues, and Soul. The Mudpies were most recently nominated for CEA Best Blues Band award, and have played with the likes of Dick Dale, Los Lonely Boys, and Eric Johnson. The Mudpies are a Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area rock band that has been slinging mudrock in the tri-state area since the spring of 1999. The Mudpies have enjoyed playing the the 2008 Queen City Blues Festival at Sawyer Point, the 2009 Queen City Winter Blues Festival at the Southgate House, the main stage at the 2003 Pepsi Jammin’ on Main and the 2002 Bacon Electricity Music Festival/Campout, as well as opening dates for the likes of Dick Dale, Eric Johnson, and Los Lonely Boys. For 10 years the band has been hitting local Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky nightspots like the Southgate House, Mansion Hill Tavern, The Comet, The Northside Tavern, Top Cat's, Sudsy Malone's, as well as the legendary Derf's Tavern in scenic Latonia, KY. The Mudpies enjoy playing a combination of mud-twisted cover tunes as well as Mudpies original songs.

Swear Jar first played together on 6/6/6. The impromptu sounds of that night laid the foundation for songs to come. After their first practice, one thing was quite clear: members Shane Chaney, Rob Flexon, and James Burns (ex - Sregor Det, Goodnight Satellite, Secret Safe, Bad Captain, and Quality Mokes) were all on the same page. They shared a common enthusiasm for refreshingly new, bombastic hardcore rock, garnished with unexpected transitions. It’s music that makes you think, but still makes you move. Some have described it as music for musicians.

We are three dudes who share a love for music, often times similar styles of said music. Hence, we have constructed this vessel in which we can create our own contributions to the music world!
