It's with supreme excitement that we announce the dates of our Desert Hearts Spring Festival! We knew 72 hours of House, Techno, & Love at our 2 Year Anniversary was never going to quench the thirst of our music loving family, so on March 27th-30th we're headed back to the Los Coyotes Indian Reservation for Round 2 at our new home off the grid. We listened to all your feedback and learned a lot from our first experience on the rez, so this next go around you can expect an even more polished Desert Hearts experience. Ohhh baby it's about that time...

Words can't explain how excited we are to return to the majestic Los Coyotes Reservation this Spring to connect with the nature, beats, and all you beautiful beings once again. For us we can't dream of a more beautiful place to celebrate love and life through music and art.

With the growth of Desert Hearts we have strived to keep the vibe, integrity of music, ambiance, and creative participation to the highest standards. Our motto is House, Techno, and Love and we and our participants live that to the truest. After all, we are all just one big beautiful family. ~ ♥ Tickets ♥ ~

Gates open on Friday at 10am. Music starts at noon on Friday and bumps nonstop until Monday at noon. Tickets include entrance, camping, and access to all open kitchens, theme camps, & art installations.

For fastest entry, please print and bring your ticket that will be email to you upon purchase. If you can't find the email please check your spam or promotions folder.

In order to encourage carpooling, an Environmental Impact Fee of $20 will be charged per vehicle. This is intended to greatly help us reduce the amount of traffic entering and exiting the festival grounds.

We have had a much larger response this year and have decided to limit our capacity to maintain our intimate One Stage, One Vibe philosophy of Desert Hearts. We suggest you buy your ticket soon because we will sell out of all tiers and won't have anything left at the door.

Early Bird - $100

Tier 1 - $120

Tier 2 - $140

For each tier we have a limited number of tickets for sale. After the tickets sell out at each tier, the price will increase to the next tier. The sooner you buy your ticket, the more money you'll save.

~ ♥ Car Camping and RV Passes ♥ ~

If you are planning to camp in or with your vehicle, you will need a Car Camping Pass. If you are arriving in a RV or bus, you need a RV pass or else you will not be allowed in. You can purchase passes along with your tickets.

NOTE: There are extremely limited RV passes available so if that's your bag, you should probably hop on it in the first 24 hours before they sell out!

Desert Hearts is a bi-annual music and arts festival. We are a community, a movement of love celebrating life with beats. A place where acceptance, creativity and passions flourish. We are an intimate gathering of open-minded and like-minded individuals where friendships blossom and smiles surround you. A place to learn, grow, inspire and release. A safe haven away from Babylon where everyone can connect with nature, be themselves and do what makes then happy. One stage, one vibe, and one beautiful growing family.

House, Techno and Love was the foundation for our first small renegade in the Mojave and has continued to be the basis for our gatherings. We have come a long way since the birth of Desert Hearts and although our family has grown, our vibe and high standard of music has stayed true to our values.

This past year was especially groundbreaking for us. We established our record label and have had chart topping success with our first Desert Hearts Records releases. We brought our festival vibe indoors through our City Hearts parties in San Diego, San Francisco and Los Angeles. We established our community Desert ARTS program as a commitment to showcasing community artists. And we have built our playa presence with a very successful second year of our Burning Man camp the Pile Palace.

Desert Hearts was founded by San Diego based friends and DJs, Christopher Kristoff, Mikey Lion, Lee Reynolds, Matt Marbs Marbella, Deep Jesus, and Mikey's younger brother Porkchop. Andy Crane later joined the team to complete the Desert Hearts Crew. Together we work endless hours, putting our heart and soul into creating a beautiful environment for community to gather. ~ ♥ Location & Weather ♥ ~

The Los Coyotes Indian Reservation is truly a gem to behold. Tucked in to the mountains surrounding Warner Springs (San Diego County), it brings the best of the high desert and forest together all in one. Trust us when we say we don’t know of a more beautiful place in Southern California to host our festival.

Temperatures can range from the 70s in the day to the 40s at night. Be prepared for extreme heat and cold. There are plenty of open spaces as well as ample areas shaded by trees.

There will be plenty of parking that is reasonably close to all camping areas. If you wish to bring an RV, you must purchase a pass in advance. If you would like to camp with your car, you must purchase a pass in advance.

The campground is rustic so there are no showers or functional bathrooms. We will be providing ample portapotties that will be spread throughout the venue.

***There will be no drinking water supplies, so please bring enough to last you as well as extra to share.***

DH Arts Program aka DesertARTS was founded to provide a structured management platform for the involvement of community based artists and performers to create a truly unique atmosphere embedded with artistic participation and imagination.

Art and dance are the ultimate form of self expression and it is through these platforms that we celebrate all that make us human. With the growth of Desert Hearts we have continued to focus on the expansion of our arts and outreach for community participation. We have fully committed to hosting a wide variety of artists, which include but not limited to, live painting, face/body painting, displayed art, interactive art, art installations and performance art.

Being a transformational festival focused so heavily on the music we at Desert hearts are now more than ever committed to creating space for community healers to gather and share their knowledge. We will be hosting a yoga and workshop dome and healing village.

Theme Camps are an integral part of the Burning Man community and we love it when an entire camps come together to contribute to the magic that is Desert Hearts. If your theme camp wold like placement pease fill out the application and we will get back to you. Keep in mind in order to secureplacement for your camp, you must contribute to DH in some way. That can be anything from giving away free food to bringout out an art installation, get creative.

Volunteer Application will be open from January 20th until January 31st. If you are worried about securing a spot to DH through volunteering, we suggest buying a lower tier ticket to secure your entry and then selling it if you get accepted to volunteer.

Volunteering is an important part of what makes magical events like Desert Hearts possible and important part of participating in the world at large. Whether you’re building an art installation, helping a neighboring camp with their setup, assisting participants upon their arrival with the Gate and Box Office crews, or just running amok creating a smile on every fellow participant you encounter, you’re a pivotal piece in the puzzle. The temporary community that is Desert Hearts exists because of the hard work and kick ass dedication of volunteers offering their time, resources, knowledge, and skills year round and on site. When something needs doing, it gets done, by you, and you!, and you!, and you! No experience necessary – just a desire to learn new things and to be an active part of your community!

We are an open community where you can experience freedom in many ways however we have a few rules you must follow when attending Desert Hearts:

ABSOLUTELY NO ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES OR ILLEGAL BEHAVIOR OF ANY KIND. Desert Hearts has a strict Zero Tolerance policy. You will be asked to leave if you violate this.

~ No NOS tanks, balloons or any kind of drug use or illegal activity.

~ 21 & Up Event; ID's will be checked at the gate.
( excluding children 10yrs and under accompanied by a guardian )

~ No re-entry if you leave the festival. Bring enough water and ice to last you throughout the weekend.

~ No dogs (service dogs excluded, but must be leashed).

~ No renegade sound systems. One stage, one vibe has always been our policy.

~ No littering, especially be mindful of bottles and cigarette butts.

~ Pack it in and pack it out please!!!

~ ♥ Leave No Trace ♥ ~

This is a leave no trace event. Pack it in, pack it out. Please do not leave your trash bags with us.

PLEASE do not leave any bottles or trash by the dance floor/speakers. If you see trash or bottles out on the ground or left out, please help clean it up and keep our land beautiful. There will be recycling containers by the stage.

It's a good idea to bring two trash bags, one for trash and one for recycling. Please pocket your cigarette butts and pick up any butts if you see them on the ground. No glow sticks or glow sand please! Also, please no feather boas or anything that will create MOOP.

~ ♥ Safety and Security ♥ ~

Desert Hearts will be staffed with a full licensed and insured security team at all times. This does not mean you should leave your car unlocked or personal belongings out in the open. Desert Hearts is not responsible for anything that is lost or stolen.

At all out door gatherings there will be a trained medical staff on standby during the entire duration of the event. If you have any medical needs please find the medic tent and they will be more than happy to service you. Please be cautious of any known allergies, illnesses, or infections you may have. Also, be cautious of your surroundings, some of our locations are known to have such things as poison oak.

~ ♥ FAQs ♥ ~

Q: Are tickets returnable or transferable?
A: Tickets are non-refundable, which is clearly stated in the disclaimer provided on our ticketing site. However, we do offer the ability to transfer your ticket into someone else’s name. To transfer your ticket to someone else’s name, please contact the ticket provider directly.

Q: Can we bring dogs with us camping?
A: Please leave your pooch at home unless a registered service dog, then must be leashed and identifiable.

Q: Can I spin fire at the event?
A: The fire risk at our current venue is high. As that is the case, there will be no unauthorized fire spinning. If we have fire spinning they will be pre approved licensed and insured performers only.

Q: Why are ticket prices so expensive? Where does the money go?
A: Ticket prices directly reflect the magnitude of each festival. For festivals with multiple international headliners, art installations, interactive art, live art performers, camping, theme camps, etc. the ticket prices tend to be more expensive. For smaller events that only involve local talent, or are not 3 day camp outs, the tickets are much cheaper. All revenue is used to pay our musicians, artists, and vendors fairly. Any left over revenue is used to grow our community and festivals.

A: You are automatically signed up with our mailing list when you purchase a ticket to a Desert Hearts event. If there are no events in the near future you can sign up on the home page of the Desert Hearts website.

Q: I’m out of the country and your ticketing site seems to have issues with my credit card. Is there another option for me to purchase tickets?
