Big Gay Birthday
Big Gay Birthday is the pre-Pride party that also celebrates SF’s birthday (238 this year) with an exclusive DJ set by JD Samson (Le Tigre, MEN), drag performances by Honey Mahogany, Peaches Christ, a live performance by Double Duchess, plus DJ Rapid Fire. There will be birthday cake, A Flying Camera Photo booth, El Tonayense food truck, and the first 300 guests will receive a complimentary drink.
Big Gay Birthday will also include a lip sync contest (to win round trip airfare to Auckland, New Zealand for two, courtesy of Hawaiian Airlines), plus special cocktails featuring Jack Daniels Tennessee Honey, Southern Comfort, Tequila Herradura, and gifts for attendees from intimate lifestyle company, Lelo. Big Gay Birthday’s official beer sponsor is Coors Light.
Tickets are $20 per person. VIP tickets are $50 and include hosted bar all night, access to the exclusive lounge upstairs, and a gift bag of Lelo goodies, worth over $200.

DJ Rapid Fire
DJ Rapid Fire is a DJ living and working in San Francisco. She started DJing in 2006, co-founding the notorious SF queer dance party Stay Gold, and now resides as one of the founders & resident DJs of the hugely successful Bay Area collective The House of Babes.
DJ Rapid Fire's style is fierce, creative and confident, and whether she is playing a hard-hitting and sexy hip-hop set or a high energy house and dance music set, she is known to always read the vibe of the crowd to make sure the dance floor stays engaged and entertained.
Double Duchess (Live)
With big beats and playful narratives, San Francisco's Double Duchess transcends genres and genders through its live experience and high-energy delivery. Krylon Superstar's mesmerizing voice and performance art genius, coupled with davO's emceeing and production deftness, delivers a raw and campy electronic sound. Double Duchess' musical influences include Baltimore club, booty breaks, and ballroom house, all wrapped in a world of couture fashion.
Drag Performances by Honey Mahogany
Honey Mahogany is an international drag performer and budding recording artist. The currently reigning Miss Blow Up USA initially gained worldwide fame as a cast member on season five of the reality television show and cult phenomenon, RuPaul’s Drag Race. Honey is a prolific performer and popular MC. Her emceeing chops include Topsy Turvy: A Queer Circus Extravaganza in both 2013 and 2014, her own weekly drag show in The Castro called Mahogany Mondays at the Midnight Sun and more. No stranger to hard werk, Honey has also appeared in numerous theatrical productions including Dirty Little Showtunes and Halloween: The Ballad of Michelle Meyers, and held the title role in Oprah: The Dragsical. This queen bee also held starring roles in several Peaches Christ Productions including: The Craft and the infamous 16th anniversary of Showgirls. Additional theatrical projects include the Work MORE! Collaborative directed and curated by Mica Sigourney/Vivvyanne Forevermore; and in Fall of 2012 Honey Mahogany performed in Manchester, England in support of trixxie carr: The Right to Rule at the Abandon Normal Devices (AND) Festival, a part of the UK’s Cultural Olympiad. Honey’s debut EP Honey Love, a collection of songs written and produced by Honey Mahogany in collaboration with Erik Ian Walker of Wako World Music, was released in February 2014. The single Shoulda Known Better gained national attention when Honey made a cameo appearance performing the song on episode four of the HBO series Looking. The music video for that single was shot in the legendary cabaret venue Martuni’s where Honey has also performed Honey Love live in concert. In 2014 Honey went viral as part of a parody project by Ratchet Productions called INnOUTMISSION (a parody of Beyonce’s Partition directed by Adrian Anchondo). Her mug has been featured all over the internet including the homepages of Buzzfeed, PerezHilton, Out, HuffingtonPost, DListed, NewNowNext, Uptown, Frequency, and many, many more. Honey’s flawless looks have also graced the covers of Gloss Magazine, East Bay Express, SF Weekly, and Bay Guardian. In 2011 she was voted Best Drag Queen in the SF Weekly’s Readers’ Poll and selected for the SF Bay Guardian’s Hot Pink List of Queers to Watch in the Guardian’s Queer Issue. In 2010 Honey’s premiere single, a cover of Adele’s Hometown Glory was recognized by Limelight, a lead song licensing company, as one of the Best Cover Songs of the Year. Honey Mahogany continues to grow as a performing artist and appreciates her ever-growing community of fans and followers. Peaches Christ & more!
Peaches Christ is an underground superstar; emcee, filmmaker, actress, and certified cult leader. Ms. Christ currently resides in San Francisco where her Peaches Christ Productions Company and Midnight Mass movie series are based.
Midnight Mass is the hugely popular San Francisco midnight movie event begun in the summer of 1998 at Landmark Theatres' Bridge Theater in San Francisco, CA. The elaborate pre-show stage productions, guest stars, and drag spectacles continue to draw sell-out crowds. Special guest stars have included Mink Stole, Tura Satana, Linda Blair, Mary Woronov, RuPaul, Erica Gavin, Patrick Bristow, Elvira (Mistress of the Dark), John Waters, and more.
Peaches Christ co-stars in All About Evil, written and directed by Joshua Grannell. The wickedly black comedy is set in San Francisco and stars Natasha Lyonne, Thomas Dekker, Cassandra Peterson, Mink Stole, and more. The film premiered in the spring of 2010 and a Midnight Mass produced road-show continues to tour the world with All About Evil and a specially created stage-show starring Peaches Christ.
