Ucluelet and Tofino BC (Canada's surf capital) lie on Canada's rugged west coast, ensconced by coastal temperate rainforest. This beautiful, natural playground plays host to a budding annual music festival. Going into its Third year, Otalith has fast become a destination festival in one of Canada's most visited tourist havens. Otalith Music Festival is a presentation of the Pacific Rim Music Festival Society, a non-profit society dedicated to the promotion of coastal conservation and awareness through arts and entertainment. Proceeds from the event go to both local and provincial initiatives focused on the preservation of our natural environment.

Otalith takes place at multiple venues throughout the Pacific Rim (Tofino & Ucluelet, BC), showcasing 30 acts over two days. The Festival takes full advantage of the regions fantastic scenery and character. Shows are hosted at indoor clubs, outdoor stages and on sprawling green lawns at a rockin outdoor MainStage. Otalith Music Festival takes place over August 21st and 22nd with shows hosted throughout both days.

Gracing stages past at Otaligh were international acts Jake Smiths, The White Buffalo, The Allah-Las, Wake Owl, Kathryn Calder, Ages & Ages, Shred Kelly, The Cave Singers, Current Swell, Bear Mountain, The Bright Light Social Hour, Dear Rouge, Northcote and Yukon Blonde.

With 1500 attendees, this festival plays host to the most intimate festival experience of its type in one of the most beautiful settings in the world.
