Diamond Plate

Diamond Plate

Detonating out of the suburbs of Chicago, DIAMOND PLATE quickly established themselves as one of the top forces in the emerging U.S. thrash metal scene. A young but formidable three-piece, DIAMOND PLATE made their debut in early 2008 with their raw-energy, no-nonsense “Mountains of Madness” E.P. release. Although the three members’ ages averaged at a mere 15 years old, critics and metal fans alike saw the colossal potential of the band in the short release and the popularity of DIAMOND PLATE began to grow. After being approached by Stormspell Records, the “Mountains of Madness” E.P. was released as part of “Thrash Clash Vol. 2” with Swedish thrashers Oppression gracing the second half of the split. With the distribution of an indie label and self-promotion through the internet, the young three-piece from Chicago soon began to make a powerful international presence.

Vindicator

The foundation for Vindicator was laid in South Amherst, Ohio during Summer of 2005 when long time friends Marshall Law and brothers Vic and Jesse Stown got together with a singular vision. The band drew influences ranging from first-wave Bay Area and Teutonic thrash to the New Wave of British Heavy Metal. As one of the front-runners of what has come to be known as the "New Wave Of Thrash" Vindicator quickly gained a strong local following. Word of the three-piece metal powerhouse from the American Midwest spread rapidly throughout the U.S. and Europe.

Vindicator reached a milestone in 2008 with the self-release of the band's debut full-length album "There Will Be Blood" receiving strong support from old and new thrashers alike. The band spent the next year gigging nationally in support of the album with such bands as Raven, Overkill, M.O.D., Hirax, Destruction, Exodus, Kreator, and many others.

Vindicator once again hit the studio in late 2008 to record tracks for a split release with 80's German cult metal legends Metal Witch. Entitled "Outbreak Of Metal Vol. 1", the new tracks showed the true realized power of Vindicator

Having just completed a series of national dates, Vindicator was invited by fellow thrashers Fueled By Fire to play the 2009 Thrasho De Mayo festival in Los Angeles. The band took the opportunity to hit the road once again for a series of dates from Ohio to Southern California dubbed the "Nationwide Ruination Tour". In early 2010, Vindicator returned to the studio to record their second full-length album entitled "The Antique Witcheries" scheduled for release on Heavy Artillery Records in August 2010.

Hell-bent on world-domination, the thrash maniacs known as Vindicator continue their mission to deliver balls-to-the-wall, skull-stomping, old school, thrash metal to the world.
