Tyrone Wells still sort of chuckles to himself when he thinks about the fact that making music is his “job." He has been at this “job" for well over a decade, and is just now beginning to shake off the discomfort and stress of the days when he had a real job (TJ Maxx - lead of the ladies department in Spokane, WA). As far as jobs go, Tyrone feels like he has won the lottery (in regards to his present “job”). He loves to create music. He loves to perform. He is a husband, and a father of 3 daughters. He has four sisters, so he feels right at home being completely outnumbered by the ladies in his present household (and also when he was the lead of the ladies dept at TJ Maxx). He believes that Jesus is for real. He’s writing this bio. He’s referring to himself in the third person. He knows that this bio has a ring of sarcasm, but he is dead serious. He feels extremely grateful. He jokes around, but he has worked very hard at making music his “job." He has spent countless hours writing, recording, playing live, and traveling to play live again. He has spent time away from his beloved family to make this thing a reality. He has never really experienced much radio success, so his fans have been gained the old fashioned way, by pouring his heart out on a stage, and by word of mouth. He feels certain that he will make music until his dying day, as it is not only gratifying for him to create, but also therapeutic and necessary. He can’t believe you’re still reading this… if you are still reading this, he wants to thank you for taking the time to do so, and for supporting what he does. He knows it would be impossible without you.

Following a 2013 which saw him play 200 shows across Europe and the US, achieve gold status with his single 'Unbreakable', sell out two headlining tours and win the hugely popular TV show The Voice of Germany, Nick Howard is debuting his newest single Untouchable following several months of writing and recording in Los Angeles, New York and Nashville with some of the industry's biggest names. Untouchable was co-written and produced with Grammy nominated writer/producer Toby Gad.
In 2012, following years of independent success Nick Howard, a singer-songwriter from the UK, won The Voice of Germany (Germany's version of the hugely popular and successful 'Voice' franchise) and saw his winning single 'Unbreakable' reach number 1 on iTunes in 3 countries following the show. Nick won the competition with over 40% of the vote and his subsequent album 'Stay Who You Are' debuted at number 1 on iTunes. In the show's finale, Nick performed with Robbie Williams and sang the hit single 'Read All About It' with Emeli Sandé, the recording of which flew up the iTunes charts upon it's release and has had over 35 million plays on Spotify.
Nick auditioned for The Voice of Germany after building a successful independent career during the last 6 years that led to particular success in Europe. After touring with bands such as Lifehouse, Boyce Avenue and Tyler Ward in Europe and supporting the likes of Train, Gavin DeGraw and Jack Johnson in the US, Nick managed to build a loyal fan base in both continents. Initially he saw The Voice as a way to introduce his music to a bigger audience and chose Germany because his fans there were the first to embrace and support his music. Nick learned to speak German just one month before the first show. The day after his blind audition, his social media numbers had doubled, and since winning he has reached close to 100,000 'likes' on Facebook. He has also amassed over 4 million views of his videos on YouTube.
Several years prior to the show, Nick had moved to New York to pursue his music career. He spent 5 years working various 9-5 jobs in addition to working as a waiter at night to support his dream while writing, recording and performing whenever and wherever possible. Having his music used over forty times in TV shows such as The Hills, Jersey Shore, Pretty Little Liars, Switched at Birth, Army Wives, LA Ink and 90210, as well as landing the support tours mentioned above, Nick was able to support himself as an independent artist. In the last three years alone he has played over 500 shows in the US, the UK and in Europe both as a support and headlining act.
After spending the first 8 months of 2013 on the road in Europe and the US, Nick moved to Los Angeles to write and record his next album. Nick has written with some of the best names in the industry who's combined credits include Beyoncé, Katy Perry, Bruno Mars, Olly Murs, Robbie Williams, Miley Cyrus, Pink, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and countless others.
Untouchable was released in Germany in November supported by fantastic radio play and performances on The Voice of Germany and in front of 1 million people at the Brandenburg Gate on New Year's Eve. Untouchable currently sits at number 11 on the German mainstream radio charts, the only independent release in the Top 20.
