Traxman

Cornelius Ferguson, better known as Traxman, spent the '90s and '00s packing Chicago's dancefloors with fast-paced house, juke, and footwork. He's taken his show all over the world the last few years, thanks in part to his insane 2012 Planet Mu release, Da Mind of Traxman, and in part to his insane live show, which find him flipping samples of classic R&B tunes, Chicago house tracks, and psychedelic jazz in equal measure, at lightning speed. Da Mind of Traxman's sequel, the aptly-named Da Mind of Traxman vol. 2, is coming out soon also on Planet Mu, and it draws from an even broader sonic palette than its predecessor, incorporating elements of all sorts of dance music genres, pushing footwork into the future, into the atmosphere.

L-Vis 1990 (real name James Connolly) is a London-based DJ and producer and, along with Bok Bok, is a co-founder and head of the Night Slugs imprint, which arose from their monthly club night at London’s East Village club.

He has had original material released on the Dress 2 Sweat, Mad Decent, Sound Pellegrino, and Tres Cool Records labels, along with his 2010 “Forever You” EP, released by his home camp, Night Slugs. He has done remix work for Crystal Fighters, La Roux, Tony Senghore, Gucci Vump, Sissy Nobby, Supra 1, Kingdom, Mosca, and others, and continues to tour in the UK.

Heavily responsible for the grimy techno-soul of NYC's Cubic Zirconia and the greasy bass of Drop The Lime's live show, DJ and producer Nick Hook has been "twisting knobs" (self-description) for a minute now. He is no stranger to the dark underbelly of the late-night clubs, having played in some of the finest temples of boom the world over. His unique strain of acid-fried basslines and vintage drum machines have kept him in demand amongst a smorgasbord of musicians, including Men Women & Children and Head Automatica and he is currently working with El-P of Company Flow,L-Vis 1990 of Night Slugs and is the engineer behind everyone's favorite Azaelia Banks EP. He also has red hair, which is a plus in our books. Look for is upcoming solo EP with Scion dropping in October!
