A GOOD IDEA FUNDRAISER
Named one of the top seven charities in SF by 7x7 Magazine!
A Good Idea is a vehicle for positive social change ideas that connect people in need with people who want to help to alleviate homelessness and poverty. We build these connections for positive social change through service, education, and technology. A Good Idea creates solutions for social issues by forming teams of experts and volunteers, implementing proven social change models, and driving the overall process through compassion and empathy.
The Neurovoltaic Orchestra (NVO)
Hailing from San Francisco, The Neurovoltaic Orchestra is a 4-piece band dedicated to melting faces and rocking dance floors with original electronic music. With influences spanning genres, NVO's beats mix equal parts ethereal dream states, dirty warehouse raves, and sci-fi paperbacks into a full scale multimedia assault on your eyes, ears, and dancing feet.
Special Surprise Headliner
To be announced soon! You will freak out!
"Xandra Corpora's vocals are stunning. ... The band, tight as a bungee cord, is a funky, acoustic, jazz/blues casserole. That's right-casserole. What's more, they kill it live." --bamm.tv
"[A] concoction of bass-heavy funk rhythms, layered organ and piano, sumptuous trumpet and tenor saxophone, and tight percussion... the band's sound is that of seasoned musicians balancing respect for technical composition with a healthy love of improvisation — and clearly having a blast with it." --East Bay Express
"...sophisticated and mature sounding music, fusing jazz, blues, soul and folk all together into one fantastic live experience" -Remezcla.com
Con Brio's debut record contains twelve tracks of simmering soul, freaky funk, and brooding blues. "From The Hip" was released to a sold-out crowd at San Francisco's Cafe Du Nord in 2010.
