From San Diego, California, award-winning reggae group Tribal Seeds have become known for their spiritually driven, refreshing rock vibe they have infused with the roots style of reggae music. Originally started by two brothers, Steven Rene Jacobo [lyrics, lead vocals, rhythm guitar] and Tony-Ray Jacobo [producer, keyboard player], Tribal Seeds now boats six members, including: Tony Navarro [lead guitar], Carlos Verdugo [drums], Jose Rodriguez [keys, percussion], and Victor Navarro [bass].
Tribal Seeds’ unmatched musical talent and authentic sound has brought them to the forefront of the reggae rock genre, as their art form has reached people of all ages across the United States, and worldwide.
New Kingston is a young vocalist/instrumentalist group, that consists of three brothers. Tahir a.k.a. SLIM, the youngest member on keyboards/vocals. Courtney on drums/vocals and Stephen a.k.a SUKI, the oldest on guitar/vocals. This group fuses their reggae sound with modern [op, jazz and R&B music, to create their sound, which they term, "Reggae Crossover." New Kingston has been in the industry for some time now and some might call them, "young veterans"! The group is led by its founder/manager and father Courtney LJ Panton. New Kingston started off working with many artists such as, Collie Buddz, Mr.Vegas, Morgan Heritage, Sister Carol, Shabba Ranks, and many more. But, while working with all of these artists, manager Courtney LJ Panton had another vision. He had an ulterior motive for New Kingston, which was for them to rise to the top as a solo act and stand alone, capturing the love of the people. This helped to create their sound, dubbed, "Reggae Crossover". A blend of sounds, to everyone's liking, while still sticking to their heritage. Reggae! Now this group is sharing the stage with many artists around the world from Europe, to the Americas and beyond. New Kingston is currently set to release their second album, "In The Streets". The album features two of their singles that are gaining radio recognition globally. "In The Streets", the title track of the album and "Pon Di Wall", which is on the Ting-ah-Ling riddim revamped and remade by New Kingston!
Inna Vision is back, riding the current wave of Polynesian Reggae that is blowing up, and presenting to the public their third full length album appropriately entitled "No Stopping." Their new album delivers a full-fledged original sound that encompasses all the beauty involved with everyday struggles, brought forward through the lens of the Hawiian culture. "No Stopping" is created to inspire listeners in following their dreams and their passions, despite life's many challenges. Each song is chosen with purpose, created with passion, and presented with righteousness. Inna Vision's 2011 Upliftment Tour, co-billing with the legendary Kymani Marley, stopped in Oregon, Vegas, Utah, and the Hawai'i Islands. Now, with their new release, Inna Vision looks to bring it all together and take it to the next level.
