Ron Pope

Brooklyn, NY based artist, Ron Pope, is much more than the labels and stereotypes he’s acquired during his budding career. Pope is a musical Renaissance Man, writing, composing, recording, producing, managing, and igniting his own career. He’s stood at a crossroads where so many musicians find themselves — at the intersection of record label and independence. In an ever-evolving industry filled with rejection and compromise, Pope has plotted a new course for his music to reach loyal listeners, taking the industry-road-less-traveled in exchange for the ultimate payback, a league of devoted fans the world over. With his latest album, Calling Off The Dogs (released January 6, 2014), he is exploring new territory and pushing boundaries even further. The first single, Lick My Wounds, is the first taste of this new exploration

Frances Cone

Hailing from the low-country of Charleston, SC, now Brooklyn-based Frances Cone creates an indie pop that harkens back to old time folk and blues. With soulful, smoky vocals, and lyrics that both comfort and challenge, the band subverts tradition to live in a world of delicate sensibilities and mesmerizing heartbreak, reaching a place that sings you through the ups and the downs, remarking on the heavy while lightening the load. They fall into a world occupied by the likes of Neko Case, Cat Power, Feist, Rufus Waingwright, and Ryan Adams. Fronted by Frances Cone, she is joined onstage by Jeff Malinowski, Andrew Doherty, and Aaron Shafer-Haiss. Already acclaimed by the likes of Vanity Fair, American Songwriter, Paste and Brooklyn Vegan, their reach is proving far and wide, their authenticity and captivating melodies undeniable.
