The passion and energy embedded in AYo’s lyrical content and performance presence commands attention and has captivated the eyes and ears of both the hip-hop and spoken-word poetry communities. He recently opened for Talib Kweli at the J.Dilla tribute held at Webster Hall. He has served on a panel with the likes of Lupe Fiasco, Byron Hurt, interviewed Russell Simmons for MTV and went on a successful European tour last year. AYo also recently graced the legendary Apollo theater stage, has performed/headlined at foremost world venues such as: BAM, Webster Hall, SOBS, The Shrine, Hamburg Molotow and numerous University campuses (Stanford, University of Michigan, NYU and more). His latest international performance at the WIGFEST Music Festival in the UK was very well received.
After last month's incredible debut performance at The Delancey, TurnStyle Music Group has invited Zin-Zeta back for their #ChooseInterestingMusic Concert Series at Tammany Hall along with DJ Chelo and guest performers Young Cutta and Graphic Kontent.
Zin-Zeta is a music producer, recording engineer and film editor amongst many other things. Above all else is a rapper and he’s finally started hitting the stage to prove his skills and broaden his audience.
With an impressive array of songs and music videos posted on sites like YouTube, VladTV and Vimeo, Zin has shown his audience his versatility in the art of laying down verses, producing original beats and directing and editing as well.
His two mixtapes – “Words from the Wunderwaffe”, and his most current “The Mystery Box”, have received much praise from influential artist such as Loaded Lux, Ayo, Jaysun, and Young Cutta – all of whom have work with Zin-Zeta in the past. Download those at DatPiff.com.

Melissa Czarnik (Zarnik) is a songwriter, poet and emcee that fuses elements of jazz, poetry and hip hop into an eclectic sound that has earned her recognition from NPR, Bitch Magazine, and Bust Magazine among others. A recent transplant to Brooklyn, she has already garnered the title of one of NYC's #1 Emerging Artists from the Deli Magazine NYC.
Czarnik performs live with pianist Eric Mire and percussionist Meredith Butterworth. Her live show has captivated audiences from as far as France to New York, California to Brussels. Her most recent album, Non Merci (Hyperdrive Motivator Productions, 2012), was written and recorded at an artist residency in the French countryside, 90 miles southeast of Paris. An ultimately personal and reflective album, "It's as surprising a pairing as it is effective…Hard-hitting and smooth at once," says Mike Levine (Deli Magazine). Czarnik's DIY attitude and lovingly karmic heart can be heard and felt on Non Merci and similarly on her first two albums, Strawberry Cadillac (2008) and Raspberry Jesus (2010), self released by the DIY artist on her own label, Hyperdrive Motivator Productions. To hear Czarnik's recordings and then to see her live is like putting air to fire, fuel to the already powerful emotion that lies within her lyrics and brings them to life.
You can find Czarnik playing around New York City. She is currently working on her fourth studio album and writing a libretto for an opera with composer Eric Joseph Meyer.
