Drawing inspiration from 70s disco, 80s New Wave and 90s indie rock, Moscow's Pompeya weaves vibrant harmonies, melodic synth lines, and punchy guitar riffs to create unabashed indie pop. Their self-released debut quickly brought the group a large amount of popularity in their home country. Following extensive touring and television appearances in Russia and Eastern Europe, the group set to work on their follow up Foursome. The EP was recorded under the direction of Christopher Haynes in LA's Bedrock Studios. After signing to Gala (a subsidy of Warner Music) in Russia, and No Shame Records in the US, the group embarked on their first US tour in May of 2013. Tropical will mark the band's US full length debut, to be released in October 2013 through No Shame Records. "Power", "Slaver", and "90" are slated as the LP's first singles, each with new music videos and remixes.
In the state of multiplicity, we will find Loveskills . This one-man industry of music, Richard Spitzer, discovers himself through the craft of songwriting - producing textures of therapeutic synth, low frequency bass, and a balance of melodic heart speak. While new love kills the desire to surrender, ambitious heartbreak sets the stage. Loveskills comes in waves, different perspectives from the same vantage point in the heart of the city.
