Concerts for CoMo: The Intersection

Concerts for CoMo: The Intersection

Event description: Concerts for CoMo is a charity event benefiting The Intersection ( The Intersection is an independent, non-profit, non-sectarian organization whose mission is to promote the development of healthy community by providing a place and programs where our kids can gather, gain and give back as responsible members of society. In addition to great live music we will be having a raffle, Pizza Tree will be serving hot, fresh slices, and there will be more to come!

Alan Brant is a junior at the University of Missouri who's obsession with live music has led him to the stage. He's only been DJing for a little over a year now, and has played sorority and fraternity events, as well as an opening set for The White Panda earlier this semester. He embraces the spectacle of the live show, and isn't afraid to play off the top of his head. House and Electro are his bread and butter, but expect to hear many different sounds in an iLLNOIZE set.

The Rollups

The Rollups are a groovy group of musical goons who formed in Como back in the good old days of 2013. With influences like The Beatles, Radiohead, and Tame Impala, The Rollups take their music seriously, but don’t take themselves too seriously. These guys love getting on stage to have fun and jam, bringing a cool attitude to every song. Each performance feels like sitting in on some best friends goofing around and having a blast. Sam Jennings (guitar & lead vocals), Marshall Maxwell (guitar), Emmitt Wright (bass), and Jon Belsheim (drums) have the goal of becoming “Columbia’s band.” They hope to bring a raucous energy to every stage and sing you songs you just can’t get out of your head.

MINORS: Please be prepared to pay a $2 surcharge at the door in addition to the purchase price of the ticket.
