Born Stacey White On November 8th 1990 & As Part Of The Brick Bandits Later Down The Line In Life, Which Include The Likes Of Tim Dolla, Dirty South Joe And Dj Sega, Dj Sliink's Records Have Been Obliterating Club Sound Systems Through The Hands Of Some Of The Most Respected Soundboys In The Business.
His Signature Blend Of Jersey/Philly/Baltimore Club, Incorporating Aggressive Uptempo Rhythms With Soothing Pop And R&B Samples Give Him Extensive Appeal Across The Pop And Underground Spectrum.
Although his unique sound sees no boundaries, New Jersey's Nadus truly excels at creating and producing fast-paced Juke, hard-hitting hip-hop, and energetic Jersey Club under the umbrella of East Coast Club music.
Nadus has come a long way since Dirty South Joe, Tim Dolla, Mike V, and the Brick Bandits family put him on the map when he was only fifteen years old. Now at twenty years old, Nadus' signature sound and masterful performances behind the decks have taken him as far as Sydney, Australia. His original productions and remixes have been released on labels like Ninjatune, Palms Out Sounds, Ghettophiles, and Kingdom's Fade To Mind Imprint. He has produced music for the Seattle rapper, Eighty4Fly and is the official DJ and producer for the rap group, NJ Rebels. Nadus is also the co-founder of the "Thread" party with Exrahk, DJ Reck, and Elete of St. Joe Louis.
Ever since he's been on the scene, Nadus has racked up a mile-long list of supporters amongst his peers of DJs and producers, including his mentor DJ Steel, Dave Nada, David Heartbreak, Munchi, DJ Sega, Nick Hook, Cobra Krames, DirtyFingers, DJ Ayres, DJ Tameil, WCKids, Luny P, Sinden, and Diplo, who even wrote a college recommendation for him.
Born in Jersey City and raised in Union City, NJ, a predominately Latino community in the outskirts of New York City, his surroundings have been a major influence in the style and music that he plays. With tropical latin sounds mixed in with hard urban beats, from old to new he plays it all.
At a young age, DJ Reck was taught by his cousin DJ Vlad Vera on how to mix and blend. Later on he taught himself how to scratch and has honed his skills throughout the years. As the technology evolved so did Reck, with the skill to be able to play on vinyl, cd or computer. Diversity is his middle name.
Playing everything is an understatement. Hip Hop, House, Club, Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Cumbia, Reggaeton, Freestyle, Kuduro, Baile Funk, Reggae, Soca, Moombahton, Dub Step, Zouk, Juke, Rock, Pop etc. Armed with a huge library, a keen knowledge of music and the ability to read crowds, DJ Reck always aims to please and rock out parties where ever he goes.
DJ Reck has played throughout New Jersey, New York, Philadelphia, and as far out as Texas with the likes of Mad Decent DJ's, DJ Tameil, Tim Dolla, DJ Sega, Dirty South Joe, Munchi, Uproot Andy, Geko Jones, Sabo, DJ Ayres, Mike B, A-Mac, DJ Camilo and opened up for acts such as Tito Rojas, Toby Love, Oro Solido and more.
He's a part of Brick Bandits, New Jersey's biggest family of Producers and DJ's spanning from Jersey to Chicago and Philly, as well as part of the collective called Danger Room with such members as Wu-Tang Clans Cappadonna, Chedda Bang and VDJ Roc Star. DJ Reck also participates in charity events, fundraisers and toy drives that help in uplifting and enlightening various organizations such as New York's AID's Walkathon, City of Roselle, ULP and more. He also is the co-founder of the first official Moombahton party in NYC called Moombahton Maxxin along with Phi Unit, Cousin Cole and Monica Sharp. A Latin Party in the Lower East Side at The SKINnY Bar and Lounge and Thread in collaboration with fellow Brick Bandit's Elete, Ezrakh, Nadus and DJ Slink.
As always he is working on more edits and remixes as well as original production. Find him at various venues from bars, lounges, clubs and concert events
DJ, Producer & Musician from Jersey(US). Member of the Brick Bandits.
If DJ Slow was a barbecue, he'd be pulled pork. If he was an over-the-counter medicine, he'd be cough syrup. Behind every great crew lies a head honcho, a shot caller and for Belgium's Pelican Fly label it's DJ Slow who’s playing the role of figure head, CEO of the groundbreaking label. Acting as the label's A&R and head DJ, making sure the fountain of vibes is well maintained. All of this would be nothing however if DJ Slow wasn't an expertly skilled selector and digger. Voted two years in row as DJ #1 for the DJ MAG TOP 100 by Brodinski (even if he wasn't in the list). He manages to find a tasteful balance of North American Urban Club music with European sophistication. For example, blending the far reaching sounds of ATL rap with Jersey club into House Music into sleazy Techno and the rawness of UK Grime into a perfect cohesive structure. DJ Slow has also been selected for the 2013 edition of the Red Bull Music Academy where he will perform in New York City this Spring.
